this place lives up to its name. The chewiest, most scarf-able, perfectly numbing dan dan noodles. truly luxurious and nourishing after being so so hungry. (the food also came very quickly.) We got the dan dan noodles, yi bin noodles, and poached greens. Would 1000% get all of the above again. We got the regular spicy for both noodles and it wasn't overly spicy-- if I was feeling more of a kick I would get the extra spicy next time.

Please update your hours if you’re closed earlier. Your restaurant states 12am close but I arrived 10:30 to someone shutting down the restaurant. Such a waste of time coming all the way here

We ordered Hot and Sour Glass Noodle soup and it was so flavourful and had a good quantity. We are excited to try Dan Dan noodles & Mapo Tofu the next time that we come in. The place is also very nice and tidy.

I walk by this place so many times. I didn't think much since there so many places to eat on Denman. Since my favorite Korean restaurant across the street recently closed, so I said hey I'll try it today. I'm glad I did it. The dan dan noodle was good and chewy. I went with the lightest heat and it was perfect. I lemon ice tea was good. Only wish it was a bit bigger. Wife and kid loved their meal, too. I was satisfied and I will be back.
