The tea is delicious, but quite expensive.
They often have discount events, so if you buy them then you can get a good deal on them.
Cash is not possible. Card only!

My only issue is that they don't accept cash

I’ve had the worst experience at the store today. I was trying to purchase some loose leaf tea and they had a campaign offering free tins for 100g tea purchases. I asked for one and the associate said she can’t give me a tin because my 100g doesn’t fit in it, and if I wanted to get one I would have to purchase one with my own money because the tea didn’t fit. She could easily just offer me an empty tin?
When I asked for suggestions she straight up said she doesn’t have any and I had to look through and ask for smelling 2 options which she made me feel like was a huge inconvenience for her.
She was being rude to a person (me) she don’t even know and really made me feel like she wanted me out of the store.

I hope Davidstea takes this as a formal complaint. The associate that dealt with me was working at 1 pm, short, Asian descent, black hair.

Never again will I buy their tea bags. Each bag is in a plastic wrapping and the tea bag its self is made of plastic. As if we really need more plastic in this world. Plenty of really good tea options out there in paper packaging and biodegradable tea bags.

The tea it’s self is nice.

2 stars because I like the tea and products.
But Customer Service is NON EXISTENT.
Do not buy online. Would not recommend and would warn others.
I made an order on Nov 29th..I have had no updates on my order. Had to look into it and FedEx seem so have it. But the order has been stuck since Dec 5th with "Label Created" in Mont Royal, QC.
I reached out to Customer Service through a Shopify Form which I got an automated response "I reached an inbox that is no longer active". So I found another Customer Service Email: [email protected] and have had no response from them either. So I reached out to their Instagram page and after 3 days, they responded and asked for my order # to forward to Customer Service! What a joke.

awesome fun :3

Don’t buy online!! The product takes more than a month and no updates. My product for hundreds of dollars is nowhere to be found, they gave me a tracking number and FedEx says we don’t have it yet, we have only the open tag but no package; and to add insult to injury Davids Customer Service is non existent.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about David's Tea. On one hand, I love that it’s a Canadian brand and has become a national favorite. On the other hand, I’m less impressed with the use of ingredients like 'natural flavoring' instead of truly natural, healthy options. They also rely heavily on plastic in their packaging, which could easily be minimized by offering more sustainable alternatives that would still preserve the in-store experience. All in all, I think David's Tea has a lot of potential, but the heavy use of plastic and questionable ingredients show there's still room for improvement.

Be careful when you entering from W Georgia St, I could barely see the stair and almost fell (July 2024), mentioned to an Asian clerk, she responded: "We put the sign." There were no "I am sorry" "Are you OK?", not surprisingly most stores are out of business.

We traveled 2 hours to pacific center to stock up on xmas gifts for our employees. The girl working ignored us and talked to her 2 friends. We waited 10 min to order a drink and when she proceeded to ignore us and other customers waiting.
We left. I was really disappointed at the lack of customer service. No music. The whole vibe was really off. Super annoying as I was pumped to see a davids tea after so many years. Unfortunately the colorful atmosphere wasn't enough to overlook the non existing customer service and we left empty handed and dis our shopping elsewhere.

Yesterday september 4 i came to the store in pacific centre downtown vancouver to finally take home a steeper and loose teas after trying to buy some hot tea cups everytime i am in the area. While i was in the store there is an asian lady that looks nice that i approach and at first i thought im going to have a good shopping experience. Upon speaking to her, she sound very straight forward instead of pleasant even though i have shown to her that i dont have that much knowledge to which one is the best for my daily needs. She showed me couple of products and while she is still assisting me she just left me out of nowhere and went to the bar to start taking orders for new customers without finishing me 1st. There is another employee there a guy that could help those clients first while i am still clueless with what i wanna get. To sum it up i am looking for a detox that could help me get energize during the day and something that i could use for night time. Because she was rushing me i got confused so i ended up getting 2 types of loose teas for night time use. I am so disappointed. I understand that customer service can be stressful because i used to work in the same mall years ago, but this is the type of job that she applied and sign for commitment so there is an expectation that she should be pleasant to every clients unless a client is being disrespectful then she could deny a service. I am not sure if the wrong loose tea is returnable but its imposible for me to go back as i am not from the area and working for five days a week it would be imposible for me to travel to downtown just to return a wrong product. Im very disappointed. Shopping should be a pleasant experience for anyone especially from a brand like davids tea that promotes wellness and relaxation.

Friendly and helpful staff. Decent selection of teas. They give you samples of different varieties to try. It makes selecting that much easier.

Great tasting tea, kind and willing to help staff.

The staff were excellent at suggesting products for me. Especially Sayda, she helped me from new products, to suggestions, to my favorite products, to checkout. She was patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I believe she is not only an asset to the company, but a delight to have helping me. I appreciate her kindness and patience. Thank you David’s Tea for having such an amazing staff!

A unique and wonderful experience, real aromas and flavors that make you dream and transport you to fantastic places. Their customer service is excellent, friendly and courteous. Highly recommended.

One of the few places that makes a proper tea latte.

UPDATE: since this is now the only remaining retail outlet in BC, and maybe Canada, it's gone downhill. My main complaint is that it's grossly understaffed. It can be a 15-20 minute wait or more, when I know just what I want. If you're going to continue providing a customized tea sommelier experience, which is very nice, then at least put up a "take a number" device or something similar. But better, hire more staff. As it is, I'll be sticking to mail order.
