Davie Dosa has become our to go place for filter coffee at the early hrs. Today we were surprised by the complimentary turkey biryani on the house for thanks giving and we loved it. Would recommend for anyone looking for authentic South Indian cuisine.

Looking forward to visit their new branch coming soon.

Davie Dosa was a wonderful experience! The owner was so kind and welcoming to all their guests. The dosa was absolutely delicious. We had the ghee roast dosa, mushroom masala, and paneer dosa. Masala chai was the perfect drink for breakfast.

Davie Dosa Company Review (1235 Davie St, Vancouver, BC)

Davie Dosa Company serves an exceptional South Indian culinary experience. The dosa is perfectly crisp and filled with vibrant flavors, while the rasam offers a comforting, tangy warmth. What sets this place apart is not just the food but the impeccable service. The staff, along with the gracious owner, exude humility and hospitality, making every guest feel truly valued.

If you're craving authentic South Indian cuisine with outstanding service, Davie Dosa Company is a must-visit. Highly recommended for both the food and the overall dining experience!

I recently visited the restaurant and ordered idly and vadai. Unfortunately, the vadai was not cooked properly; it was hard on the outside and undercooked inside. Additionally, the chutney served with both the idly and vadai was disappointing. Overall, I was left unsatisfied with the meal.

The food isn't bad, but the vibes are very strange. It was very empty on a Sunday night at dinner time and when you step in the aroma of a dirty bathroom hits you.

We ordered turmeric milk (genuinely just turmeric and milk and you can add your own sugar - not enough flavor for $5), a butter chicken curry meal with naan on the side and a spinach and paneer dosa. The naan genuinely came from like a package you would buy at the grocery store - it was pretty terrible. The dosa itself was crispy and tasty, so it saved the meal but I wouldn't go again.

Davie Dosa on Davie left much to be desired. At $16 for a dosa, I expected an authentic South Indian experience. Unfortunately, the potato filling in that thin crepe was runny and bland, with dosa chili powder scattered haphazardly. The sambar, which should be rich and lentil-based, was disappointingly watery and lacked depth of flavor. As someone of South Indian origin, I was hoping for a meal that did justice to our culinary traditions. I urge the restaurant to refine their offerings so that Vancouver diners can enjoy a memorable and authentic South Indian experience.

Worst food I ever had , butter chicken is too sweet looks like they are tried to prepare desert not the curry. And medhu vada is made of 2-3 days left over flour it tastes so bad, sambar looks like water. Worst restaurant please do not waste your money spending in this terrible restaurant.
