This is a very good choice in Coal Harbour to experience a new (Dutch) twist on breakfast. It is also an excellent place to have breakfast before catching a float plane flight or a Hullo ferry connection, as it is directly above the loading platforms for those transportation services. I enjoyed the eggs benedict Dutch style (on a pannekoek). Next time, I'll have another pannekoek with Dutch bacon and do it sweet style with maple syrup. Omelets are a nice size for a lighter appetite.

I wanted to thank the lovely server at the De Dutch restaurant in downtown Vancouver. After two months of traveling in France I arrived at the Hullo Ferry terminal really early looking a little warn out.
The De Dutch restaurant just opened at 7 am and my lovely server ( I am sorry but I didn't catch her name) welcomed me in when I told her I was starving. I was served a huge yummy breakfast while watching the sun rise over the harbour.
Fabulous meal, great ambiance, wonderful server! Thank you.

Me and my three friends came today to this location. I came in the August with my family and loved the food and atmosphere. Unfortunately today was so disappointing. When we came in at around 11:30, the hostess told us there was a 30 minute wait. My friends didn't want to wait that long so we decided to come by later for lunch. We came in at 1:30 and were greeted by the same host who told us it was a 30 minute wait again, but it didn't look busy at all. There were 4 tables full (if that). The host extremely arrogant and disrespectful and even made us use her tablet to put ourselves on the waitlist. I got a glimpse of the wait line in front of us and that's not professional at all (my sister worked as a host at Cactus Club and this is almost a violation of privacy).
She didn't have the same welcoming energy that I received from this establishment before. Will not be coming back if this is the people that are here now.

Nice location, we found portions big kinda can be shared tase was ok coffee was so good Always so buys so decided to hive it a chance We loved the panckace The Hash #5 is the bowl we liked it better than the other one number 8 on the menu Took a while to get our food but cause it was very busy , they nicely gave us a table in less than 10 mins Good for a weekend walk by the seawall and grab a brunch. Price wise its def not cheaper than other places btw $20-$29 per plate $5 latter But good taste was good

One of the best places for brunch. I’d say there’s a 90% chance this place will become one of your favourite memories. Two things really stood out on their menu (hopefully they keep the same quality!): the orange juice, which tasted like it was freshly squeezed right into the glass, and their delicious pancake (PANNEKOEKEN). Definitely worth trying at least once, I’ll definitely be going back.

the food is okay, it's not super special or bursting with flavor. the meat of the burgers tasted weird. the dutch pancake is pretty good though. service was a bit slow but it was a weekend. their mimosa's are good though! would recommend those.

We spotted here whilst exploring Canada Place and watching the Sea planes taking off and landing. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The space itself was beautifully presented and the food delicious. Would definitely consider going back when next in Vancouver.
