We were staying at a nearby hotel and came here based on google reviews. The food was good. We ordered the beef noodle soup and the beef was tender and the noodles had a good level of firmness. The curry rice with pork chops were good too. For appetizers we had their chicken nuggets which is made like popcorn chicken; it had good flavor.
There's no way this place didn't buy reviews. Mid appy and mid signature dish.
Just came home from another signature beef noddles from Deer Alley. This is very authentic, similar to the ones you get in Taiwan. I paired this with popcorn chicken- so good. Il be back again and again. Another bonus, no line so it’s a perfect place if you’re in a rush.
Good food, fast service, extremely reasonable prices for downtown!
Got the signature beef noodle, it was 10/10.
Soup was very flavorful, chewy noodles, and super tender beef (brisket?) .
Will definitely be returning to try other items!!!
This Taiwanese noodle shop, located in downtown, is a convenient spot for people working in the area. The location is easy to access, and the dining area is relatively spacious compared to many downtown eateries, making it a comfortable place for a quick meal or casual lunch.
The noodle portions are generous and filling, which is great for hungry diners. However, the flavor and preparation lean more toward a general Asian style rather than truly authentic Taiwanese cuisine. If you're looking for a quick and hearty bowl of noodles, it does the job, but those seeking traditional Taiwanese flavors might find it a bit lacking.
Overall, it’s a practical and comfortable place for a casual meal, especially for those nearby, though the authenticity could be improved.
Excellent food. Reasonable price. Good portion.
The chicken nuggets with noodles were good, I’d come back again to try other things. Service was quick at lunch time.
So good, this is the first time i try Taiwanese food and I really love it
Lovely place, great food :-)
Found this hole in the wall on Hornby St. It was raining hard so I ordered a Wonton Soup w/ noods and a peach tea. Great little restaurant and service!

Absolutely delicious and comforting. Went in with a colleague and we shared the chili wontons and pork cutlet curry with rice. Everything was delicious and we will be back again 100%!
