I have been here for the 4 th time and brought friends over and recommend everyone to visit. The sauce and portion used to be excellent. This is my 2nd time dine out to this place. Sorry to sat-price has gone up but portion shrink. I used to love their bread. Hoever now not only they dont provide but that becomes part of the dine out food. Hmmmm....

Delara is one of the very best restaurants in Vancouver. It never disappoints. The food is delicious and inspired, and the quality is reliably consistent. The service is excellent and warm, and the space is cozy and inviting. We often wish there were more comparably excellent places in Vancouver.

We tried Delara during the Dine Out Vancouver event. We went on a Saturday night (7Feb). It was crowded and loud. It was a very busy and friendly atmosphere. Seems like a lot of customers are regulars. It was a little too loud for me. Our food choices were limited due to the set menu. But the food was good. Not outstanding, but good. We tried the croquettes, Kofteh meatballs, duck leg, steelhead trout, saffron ice cream, and the orange cupcake. The cupcake was dry and bland. The ice cream was yummy. We want to come back and try some of the dishes off the regular menu. We hear very good things about this place, and we love Persian food. So, just because we started kind of meh, we are looking forward to the next visit.

Service was excellent, and atmosphere was good. we had a couple of appetizers , that were good, but sauces were very bland, tasted more store bought than made in house, hopefully thats not the case. Main course, the chicken looked to be frozen chicken breast, almost looked to be pressed not at all impressed and the lamb shank looked impressive, it was huge and looked like a feast. Unfortunately the flavors did not deliver, very bland, they were boiled but there was bark on meat from a well developed sear just tasted like boiled meat. Would not return based on experience

⛔️⛔️We had an exceptionally disappointing experience here, and unfortunately it overshadowed our time in Vancouver. Our table was not ready at the reserved time. Once seated, the food was deeply underwhelming. Several dishes arrived cold, and the texture and flavor strongly suggested they had been reheated rather than freshly prepared. For a restaurant presenting itself at a high level, this was extremely surprising. The quality of the Persian food in particular was far below what we expected. It was easily the most disappointing version of this cuisine we've had. The experience left us genuinely questioning how establishments are evaluated for Michelin recognition. If you're reading this before making a reservation, I would strongly encourage you to reconsider. Vancouver has many excellent dining options. You can save both your time and your money!

My first time at this restaurant I enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. The server asked me If I wanted to wait a few minutes to get a window seat, I agreed. There is always the extra entertainment watching passersby on 4th Ave. I will recommend it to a friend who lives in the neighbourhood and is a vegetarian. So I choose all vegetarian dishes

The only reason I didn't give them full marks all the way down was that they were so busy they could have used another server. We were only allowed 90 minutes which was tight but a wonderful meal Noise is always an issue here as nothing to absorb the sound

The Food is always outstanding, the wine list is exciting as it is very carefully curated to match the dishes and has original offerings, and the staff are friendly and attentive. I dine here whenever possible and have introduced numerous friends who are equally impressed.

Potentially came in with too high expectations. The food was passable and edible, but in comparison to some offerings found in West Vancouver this place was woefully lacking. Portions were small considering the price per plate and flavors were decent but nothing worthy of a michelin recommendation.
