The restaurant has a clean and pleasant atmosphere, and the interior design shows a sense of character and creativity that makes it stand out. The pricing is fair and affordable for what you get, and the desserts are flavorful, nicely prepared, and definitely worth trying.
Visited on a weekday around 9 a.m. and had to wait about 30 minutes, so we decided to get takeout instead. We ordered the Surprise Triple Durian with milky durian soup. There was real durian inside, but it still felt a bit pricey at $16.99
Lovely seeing more HK style dessert spots pop up in Metro Vancouver! This place can get quite busy, but there are some public bench spaces outside/patio seating if weather allows.
The mango pomelo sago was a comfort classic! C5 - Taro Balls, Mini Glutinous Rice Balls with Mango Sago Soup was really tasty! Tried their curry fishballs as well, and while on the drier side (as in not that much sauce) - the flavour was 100% there!
