Such a fantastic little haven! Food, drinks, service- all a five star experience.
Our server gave great recommendations, and his knowledge on the whole menu was amazing!
Highly recommend !
If you’re daring enough to explore the Downtown Eastside, Di Beppe is hidden in a charmingly rustic old building that’s seen its share of stories perfectly matching their slogan: “A young Italian restaurant with an old Italian soul.” The pepperoni pizza with fungi is delicious, and the meatballs with bread for dipping in marinara was pretty good. The place has a cozy, slightly rough aroun the edges vibe that makes you feel like you’re getting a warm Italian hug in the middle of a rough area of Vancouver. Great food, great charm, just keep an eye on the street and your pizza! 🍕
We made reservations for a dinner party for 10 people and Di Beppe was able to accommodate for us, including pre-planning the menu. It was $50pp for food and there was a lot of food for our party. Great service and setting to sit at the cafe side as it felt almost like a private room.
Definitely recommend for large parties or special events.
We ordered the Carbonara and a Margherita pizza with mozzarella di bufala. Despite the restaurant not being busy, it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Strangely, the table next to us, who ordered after we did, received their food much faster.
Unfortunately, the most disappointing part was the taste. The pasta was served cold and overcooked. The pizza was also served cold, and lacked flavor or any memorable qualities. it was very basic.
Service was equally underwhelming: slow and inattentive.
This place has been immediately removed from my list.
Wonderful coffee, excellent service
First time here and all went well. They were busy so we took our place at the bar. I had a pilsner with my pepperoni and mushroom pizza. My wife and son both ordered lasagna. Everybody was pleased with their choices. If you are near Gastown, definitely stop by this Italian restaurant. Very nice atmosphere.
We loved this restaurant so much. Beautiful place, delicious food and the best service ever. Thank you so much Gabriel for having us and for making us feel so welcome!
Cant wait to come back.🤩

Good atmosphere nice server.
The food was good, but I am pretty sure our sever forgot about one of our orders, thus minus 1 star. Otherwise we liked everything.

Had pizza, pasta with meatballs..Excellent!! The pasta sauce was excellent..tasted homemade with a slight hint of spiciness. Service was great..we were there for a pre-wedding party dinner..they allowed us to practice Greek dancing around the table..very accommodating..great atmosphere.
Lovely place and servers - food is pretty good but not amazing. Taste not quite strong enough
Fabulous atmosphere & food. Chris went out of his way to make our night special. Loved all our courses including our delicious dessert! Highly recommend
Came here in search of good Italian food and this place did not disappoint! We sat at the bar and Roxy took great care of us. She was very personable and attentive. Food was delicious. We had the lasagna, carbonara and the Risotto special and all were good! Vibe of the restaurant was upbeat and metro-y. Sad I couldn’t squeeze in one of their pizzas…they looked bomb! Roxy recommended their tiramisu and it was a nice finish to a great meal.
Amazing food, and even better service!!
They squeezed us in without a reservation, would highly recommend 👍
