Drove to the Met for dinner with someone staying in the hotel. There’s no one on parking duty at 5 pm, so we had to wait a while to get someone from front desk to help.
Happy Hour is 3-6 pm, but the plates were only $1 cheaper than the appetizer menu, so doesn’t really seem worth it. They also advertised $6 happy hour beer but charged us $7 for some reason.
Had the crispy Taiwanese chicken and pork belly as an appetizer. The Taiwanese chicken was very tasty, but you can’t really have bad Taiwanese chicken. Could’ve passed on the pork belly. A bit tart for me.
I had the burger and it was decent. It came with very tasty and crispy fries. Partner had the Calabrian pizza, which was very tasty too.
For dessert, I had the carrot cake, which was very good. It came with ginger ice cream, which gave it a nice kick.
Fine experience, they have 50% off wine on Sundays, which is nice. Probably won’t return since I can get equally good food elsewhere without taking a trip downtown. If you live downtown, worth a visit, as prices are decent for good quality food.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available but no kids cutlery.

Had a birthday lunch for my partner here on a weekday afternoon. The place wasn't busy at all so it was quiet and it was very easy to get seated and receive help from the waitstaff throughout our lunch. The space itself is very clean and well-maintained, and you can tell the employees at Diva care a lot about working there. The ambience is, admittedly, not bad but also not what I would mention first to promote the restaurant, but its been updated just enough to be considered modern.
The food is however is simple but very good. We ordered truffle fries and a Caesar salad to share, and fish tacos and the grilled cheese with tomato soup lunch special as our mains. All the dishes were in very large portions and very sharable, enough that we took leftovers home. The Americano I ordered was also really good. Downside is that their menu has hotel/tourist pricing, so all the dishes are rather expensive. That said, portion sizes are VERY generous so sharing is totally possible if you decide to try it out.
The service we received from Monika was the highlight of our dining experience. She was so genuinely friendly, professional, yet still very approachable, and she made our time there very pleasant. She was helpful about dishes being sharable and everything we ordered came fast and hot. Then at the end she brought out a delicious chocolate fudge and vanilla ice cream dessert for my partner without even being asked. (I had indicated on OpenTable that our reservation was for a birthday.) What a great, unexpected way to end our meal!
So while Diva at the Met was a worthwhile trip, big thanks go to Monika for making my partner's birthday so memorable.

The greeter at the door was very pleasant and friendly. Our server was very helpful with the gluten free options his service was excellent and the food was wonderful. We had a great time and would definitely away go again. Halibut was perfectly cooked and the ratatouille was like silk on the tongue and flavourful. Looking forward to going again.
Stumbled upon the Diva on day trip to Vancouver. Josh was the best mixologist I've had in years. Absolutely fantastic experience, considering staying at this hotel next time just to be near the restaurant.

Came here for happy hour drinks, and dinner. The diva burger was very flavourful, juicy, and fries were delicious. Seafood linguine was underwhelming. It was Tuesday and the server forgot about the 50% off on the 2nd entree deal. They did rectify the situation in the end.

Disappointing, for the price point I think the food was barely acceptable. What makes it not worth it is the fact that the decor and the chairs are literally from 20 years ago, you can go to much much nicer restaurants for basically the same price. Won't be back, and no wonder the entire restaurant was empty.
Excellent dining experience in there!!! Prefer to visit again sooner or later. The waitress was really kind for showing her recommendation on menu. She ran outside the restaurant for our handbag that we placed beside the chair. Highly appreciate her helpfulness and hospitality!!
Varied menu where we were all able to get something we enjoyed. This can be a challenge as my husband loves me and my son and I are vegetarians. Service was friendly and efficient Will definitely be back
We had a quick Happy Hour before attending a concert nearby. Our shared appetizers were delicious & drinks as ordered. Diva is a great for a quick pick me up or a long dinner with friends.
Enjoyed the lounging and dining experience. The cocktails are delicious to enjoy in the cozy seating lounge. We then moved into the dining room with the food experience equally enjoyable.
