I came here for lunch today. There was a male employee standing outside the restaurant in a red jacket, smoking a cigarette. When I went in to order, there was no staff inside to prepare food. The cashier then ran outside and flagged down the same man who had been smoking. He threw his cigarette down directly in front of the shop, rushed inside, quickly took off his jacket in the back area — and immediately began making and rolling my sushi with his bare hands.
At no point did he wash his hands. No soap, no sanitizer, no gloves — nothing. He had just been outside smoking, touching a cigarette, and then proceeded straight to handling raw food. This all happened in plain sight.
As a customer, this was extremely off-putting and frankly disgusting. Basic food safety standards exist for a reason. At the very least, he should have washed his hands thoroughly and worn gloves before preparing sushi — especially after smoking.
I lost my appetite instantly and will not be returning. Hygiene should not be optional,

We left a nearby sushi restaurant and came here for the larger portions, half the price, and faster service. It’s very much a take out place with basic dine in service. The sushi is fresh and my partner prefers the chicken teriyaki here above nearby options.

The food is great, and the prices are amazing for the portion size and taste! The place isn’t ideal for large groups, but it’s perfect for a small gathering or for pickup.

When I stepped inside the very cramped interior I almost turned around and left, but I'm glad I didn't. If the drab and cluttered environment isn't a turn-off for you, then stay for the food which is excellent and really fresh. They bring you a hot tea and delicious miso soup w tour order, a nice bonus.

My grandson loves sushi! I took him & my daughter here for his 21st birthday and we loved it!! Exceptional service & fabulous eats!! We will be back!!

Sushi is very good, Chicken karaage is okay, very small portion. place is small but clean. very customer oriented, very friendly. price is okay and affordable. big varieties of sushi options

For a quick fix if you want a food tour. This is a spot worth coming to!! Dine in or take out. Small space and does not serve alcohol. Everything we ordered was quite literally made to order so took some time. VERY delicious - highly recommend the “crazy roll” the menu is also wildly massive lol

Domo sushi is a great place to grab lunch if you're in the area. The food tastes great and the price point is friendly. The interior is a bit old and small but clean. Due to the popularity of the place, the wait can be very long (if you're dining in or ordering take out). The second time I went, I dined in with a friend and it took about 20-30 mins for one bento and a couple of rolls. However, if you place your order in advance, you will prob just wait for an additional 5-10 min. Still worth it to try.
