I had a privilege of having a private dinner at Don. What a memorable experience - from a custom menu to sake flights, you can tell there was so much thought put into everything. All the food was delicious, all having different flavour profiles and different textures that made you anticipating the next dish. The server's were all so attentive and friendly and checked in with us throughout. I can't wait to go back. Thank you Don for hosting us ..It will be a meal that I will always remember!

The custom menu and drinks were thoughtfully crafted, including amazing sake flights. Cliff was an absolute rockstar, communicating via email, coordinating timing and accommodating all our dietary needs with ease. He even designed custom menus for us.
The service was attentive, professional and genuinely friendly, making the entire experience seamless and stress free. We couldn’t recommend Don more for private events, special occasions, or just an unforgettable dining experience. Truly 5-star all around!

We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary at Don at Kitsilano, and the experience was unforgettable from start to finish. Every course of the tasting menu was a masterpiece, each one building on the last in flavour and creativity. The team’s care went far beyond attentive service — they made us feel truly special, even tailoring the dessert to suit us. The dishes brought back vivid memories of our trip to Japan, and the entire evening was a perfect blend of artistry, warmth, and flavour. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough for a truly remarkable dining experience.

The foods are neither hot or cold. It’s literary the worst restaurant I had in Vancouver. Won’t attend again. Don’t like every dishes ordered. The dishes are only good looking but not for taste. Not worth the price.

This is my first ever Google review and this place totally deserves it! Out for a solo lunch and ordered off the brunch menu. When I first walked in I asked if I could sit by an outlet. The waitress-happy to accommodate-offered me a portable charger at my table. Exceptional fusion menu and impeccable service. The food was outstanding and I am delighted to join them again for their dinner service!

We booked this place for our entire family on grad day for lunch. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. We ordered a lot of food to share, basically most of the menu. Everything we ordered was really tasty and beautifully plated. Great food and very cute place!
