This is a great grab and go place. I’ve had great experiences here so far over the years. They have a clean work area. Bathroom is always clean.
If you’re in the heart of downtown it’s one of the “go to” places. Always delicious.

Imagine the worst customer service you can possibly receive now multiply it by 10. It used to be such a good place to get amazing food and receive good service. Now they are scamming people with buy one get one free offers and charging for both of those items. Plus if you are friends with the people working there, you can do whatever you want, get whatever you need and the rules dont apply to you and you are the donair kings. We went there on new years eve and wanted to use the washrooms after paying for a good amount of food. They told us the washrooms are closed we said ok that's understandable. Only to see a couple of people walking in and them telling the staff they need to use the washroom the staff smiled and happily let them push past us and use the washroom for as long as they needed.
The hypocrisy along with the huge decline in the quality of food and bad service makes me wanna never go back to donair dude again.

The absolute worst customer service experience imaginable. First, they attempted to scam us by charging for two portions of food when we clearly ordered only one. Then, after we made a purchase, we politely asked to use their washroom but were denied, with the excuse that it was "closed." Fine, we thought, rules are rules. But moments later, one of the workers’ friends showed up, and suddenly, the washroom was open for them. When I pointed this out and asked again, they still refused to let me use it, while their buddy was allowed to stroll right in. Completely unacceptable, dishonest, and blatantly disrespectful behavior.

They have an offer ( buy 1, get 1 for free ). I ordered 2 so that I get 2 for free ( 4 total ) and they charged me for it but when the food was delivered, I only saw 2 pita wraps. I had some guests and guess what happened? 2 of them were looking at us eating 😂. The best part is that the Indian guy there could not even explain what happened. He acted as if it was my first time ordering food from them and I did not know how to do it! No more Donair.

Had to try this place just to compare all the other donair shops I’ve had around downtown.
Overall I would come back only when they have specials / deals on throughout the week.
Food is ok - fresh vegetables but chicken & pita bread was a little dry. Overall not bad but it was roughly $50 for 2 L donairs & S poutine. Oh yeah they also try to charge you extras for things like cheese which was kinda laughable. I get it tho 😛

Great place to stop for donair. Food is delicious. Portion sizes used to be a lot bigger, but it’s still great value. #
This place is highly rated but I was very disappointed in the food. They tried to charge me for extra hot sauce! This is a first for me at a Donair shop and they didn't put much meat in considering that I ordered the large one. Not a bad place but not a great place. There are much better ones in this neighborhood.

This place used to be my go to. I’ve been here over 15-20 times after a night out. They recently renovated and got new employees and it seems like this place went downhill. My first time there after the renovation/staff change I got food poisoning. I recommend going elsewhere.

Had the chicken shawarma. Unreal. Crispy grilled pita, savoury blackened chicken, and the freshest toppings. Rashi knows her way around a Pita, that’s for sure. Definitely my best Donair Dude experience so far downtown!
