I told the lady working to hook me up with the best Donair wrap and she did exactly that. Filled it with good stuff and chicken Donair. It was delicious.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Would not remake or refund a wrap with spoiled meat. Had to chargeback on credit card to get my money back.
Manager on site was very condescending and dismissive. Offered no alternatives other than to pay full price for more food.

It used to be fantastic, but now it’s mostly salads with barely any meat and at this price, it just isn’t worth it. I hope they can get back to their old standards as they really do have a great selection. Employees are still welcoming.

First time, but I don't think I'll be back. It was... okay. If you're just looking for food, not too greasy, and including some veggies, this is fine. If, like me, you grew up in London (UK), you've been spoiled by the fact there are a huge number of really great 'doner' kebab takeouts everywhere (the best being the Turkish ones, as far as I'm concerned). This just didn't come close to those. The meat was pretty bland, and I'm starting to feel like they think Canadians are even more afraid of flavour than the Brits! The sauces are sickly and too mayo-based. That donair sauce that everyone from Nova Scotia bangs on about? Horribly sweet. If you want a good kebab, move on.

Got delivery by Uber absolutely perfect but my chicken pita wrap absolutely reeks like cigarette. Absolutely disgusting!

Great food and AMAZING service by young man working evening (9pm) of July 17/2025!!! Helped me to get exactly what I was craving - checked with me to see if I wanted a bit more of this or that just to flavor it perfectly - wonderful attention to detail that I didn't even think to request customization on!! I've come before, this topped a previous great experience, it keeps impressing!!!!!

I have only been to the Donair Dude on West Broadway however, after talking to the owner who is very friendly I found out that he also owns, with a partner, 4 others in Vancouver (Commercial, Main, Granville, Kitsalano) as well as 1 in Portmoody and 1 on Lonsdale in North Vancouver.
This is good to know as after the few times I have come to this location I would definitely visit the others as well when in those areas.
Besides the food being delicious and the portions generous the atmosphere is welcoming and the service is excellent.
If you enjoy this type of food I highly recommend!

I ordered a large pita wrap and the portion of chicken they put into it was so measly I could barely even taste it. I'm pretty sure I got more meat the last time I ordered the smaller size. To say I was disappointed that I wasted my hard earned money on this sub-par Donaire would be nothing short of an understatement. My week is ruined to say the least. Do yourself a favor and go to a different Donaire place.
This was the second best donair I've ever had in Vancouver, and the baklava is amazing!
