The best pistachio croissants we had in a long time or since we went to Italy last spring! They were so good that we bought some to take back home to Seattle. Very friendly staff. It was a pleasure meeting the co-owner, Kristina! We will be back every time we visit Vancouver!

I was waiting in line for the ramen place next to the store and I told myself I would make a stop after eating, and I'm glad I did!

The person working behind the counter smiled at me and was very courteous. I asked for an iced mocha and it was very tasty! Even got a little piece of dark chocolate to go with it! I was so sad to see that the store was empty! This place deserves more attention!

If I was from the area, I would've made it my go to! I'm from Toronto and I can tell you, a place like those would be packed!

I loved my experience here. I came for coffee/lunch and tried the Christmas afogato (beautiful and tasty).
The barista was wonderful and super friendly, and the environment was great. A little bit lonely but perfect to have a nice chat with a friend.

Their frozen desserts are rock-hard solid, cannot be called gelato. There was even ice frosted over some of the stuff in the buckets. The fact that they charge $7 per scoop for this stuff is downright hilarious. I get the impression that the business got sold and the new ones don't know what they're doing.

The girl who helped me was rude and ignorant. I would suggest having a better friendlier service. Also the gelato I got was such a disappointment and the prices were different than mentioned online. Extremely bad.

Price quality is excellent.
Service friendly and patient. Espresso is authentic as well as the pastries. The atmosphere is Italian in the center of Vancouver.
Even pastry spoons show the love and attention for our own pastry and respect for the customer.
What a wonderful experience worth 5 stars!

I have been here several times and have consistently enjoyed the dark chocolate gelato served on a waffle cone. However, my recent visit around 2:30 p.m. on 9/16was disappointing due to terrible service and a mix-up with the gelato flavors. It appeared that the signs for dark chocolate and milk chocolate were inadvertently swapped, as the dark chocolate gelato was noticeably lighter in color.

I ordered a scoop of dark chocolate gelato but was instead served milk chocolate. When I inquired with the server about whether the gelato labeled as "dark chocolate" indeed contained dark chocolate, she informed me that it contained milk, contrary to the expected ingredient list. She insisted the dark chocolate had milk and the milk chocolate didn’t - this made absolutely zero sense to me. Despite my attempts to clarify the situation, the she was rude, uncooperative and dismissive, refusing to address the issue or offer assistance. This was particularly problematic as I am unable to consume milk chocolate, rendering the gelato both unsuitable and a complete waste of money!

While I have previously enjoyed the gelato at this location, the inadequate service on this occasion has led me to question if I’d ever want to go back. It’s sad because their ice creams were one of my favourites. While I understand mistakes happen, the service can make or break a place!

Response: I’m sorry but that’s an absolute and blatant lie. The employee didn’t clarify anything about a sorbetto, nor did the labels, and she didn’t offer any help or exchange.

Was showing off Vancouver to my 2 Swiss Girlfriends. Italian Gelato was a request. Mr. Goggle guided us to your location. Best decision we made! Ivana helped us with our decisions. Ivana was courteous, helpful, professional and friendly. Savoured the Icecream, enjoyed the Americano and Macciatos.
Loved your decor, definitely felt the European atmosphere.

The pistachio is great but their portion (scoop size) is very meagre. I don't think I am exaggerating if I say it's almost half of rain & shine. But the taste is great. So I only go very rarely even though it's just right below my apartment.

Gelato is very tasty, but their portions are a bit chintzy. They'd definitely stand out from their competitors if they were to be a bit more generous.

Tasty gelato here but service needs improvement.
There was two of us and they served one first, by the time they should have served the second person the store got busy and the staff were all confused and started serving random people and forgot that they left our order half way.

Horrible ice cream parlor with tiny cups (to save money), pay-first policy (This is Canada, not mafioso Italy, we trust customers not to run away for unpaid icecream of a few bucks; if you can't operate with the respect that the culture demands, you must go back to wherever you came from!), greedy cashiers who don't inform customers the store is about to close for the night before taking their orders, and rude cleaners who start wiping the table the customer has already sat at, loudly declaring, "We're closing in one minute!". Avoid this epitome of disrespect and low-quality customer service like the plague!

I feel really discriminated against in this location by the staff. I am a repeat customer and have been for a long time but there are specific staff members that really treat me badly compared to how they treat others of different backgrounds. It honestly makes me feel so unwelcome and I find myself really upset in every visit. I will eventually stop visiting this place but people be warned that they really discriminate.
