Today, we went from Surrey to Vancouver specially to eat dosa, Someone has recommended us, must visit Dosa Factory. Their food quality of dosa was zero and their customer service was very bad. Especially the girl who works there, her nature will not be welcoming at all. Today very bad experience with Dosa Factory.

Excellent taste and customer service. Good selection of South Indian menu. Delicious dosas and appetizers. Great selection of dosa and Biriyani. Good daily special deals. Good portions for reasonable price. Recommend the chicken 65, biriyani, fried rice, dosa.
I simply liked this place for tasty food.

Hands down, the best restaurant in Vancouver! I visited last Monday for the Dosa Day deal with my friend. I ordered the Madrasi-style special dosa, and it was really very tasty. Being South Indian, I was missing homely food, but Dosa Factory made me nostalgic, especially with the coconut chutney and the sambar.
The staff was incredibly friendly. I asked the waitress three times for more sambar. Even though I might have been bugging her, she happily accommodated me each time. If I remember correctly, her name was Adhulya. The rest of the staff was great too, though I didn’t get a chance to ask their names.
My friend ordered the Paruppu Podi dosa, which was also delicious! The only thing I didn’t like was the use of plastic bottles. If they could address that issue, it would be perfect.
I hope to visit again soon!
Thank you, Dosa Factory!

Their non veg and veg are great. It’s one of my fav places in Vancouver for Indian food. We have also ordered multiple catering orders from George, he has also always on quality and quantity over price and always fit more within budget.
Vegetarian options: They have common Indian vegetarian dishes

I recently visited Dosa Factory, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite being seated promptly, we waited for nearly 30 minutes, and no one came to take our order. The staff seemed disorganized and inattentive, even though the restaurant wasn’t overly crowded.
While I was excited to try their menu, the lack of service made it impossible to enjoy the meal. Customer service is a crucial part of dining out, and this experience left much to be desired. Unless they address their service issues, I can’t see myself returning or recommending this place to others.

This was my first time visiting the restaurant. The food was ok for me - I have heard great reviews from friends and family about the food, perhaps it was just one off. The server was super friendly and checked in regularly. One thing that disappointed me immensely was the placement of plastic disposable water bottles at every single table. I truly wish their business was conscious about climate change and sustainability. The use of one time use water bottles vs. being served water in steel or glass tumblers is something I haven't experienced at other sit down restaurants. I really wish the management would change this practice and adopt more sustainable practices. The spoon provided to mix sugar in the tea could easily have been a stainless steel one vs. single use plastic. It takes 450 years for a plastic bottle to decompose! This experience would deter me from visiting the restaurant again unless the management stops using single use plastic bottles for sit downs. Thanks so much for your consideration!
