Always a fantastic meal at Dosanko, but this was our first time coming with our preschooler. Came for an early dinner and sat at a table by a chalkboard, kids books, and toys. They also have a kids menu with a variety of rice dishes! Had the duck ramen which was rich and and delicious, the beef belly Katsu sando (my personal favourite), and of course an omurice. Look forward to our next visit!
While I had high hopes for this restaurant, I was disappointed with the efficiency of the service and the food delivery. Took 15 minutes to get served initially and to get a drink order.
I enjoyed the omurice with vegetable curry and my friend had the duck ramen.
The duck was delicious and the broth also, but the omurice rice was rather cold.

Japanese cuisine with a modern twist. Warm, cozy decor despite being a large open space. Always soft jazz playing in the background. They might have a couple of craft beers on tap, but a good selection of craft beer in cans. They are located on Powell Street.
