This is now the second, consecutive row of items missing from my order.
I have never asked for reimbursement but when they offer the gesture for being over charged, my credit is “lost”. The overcharge mysteriously doesn’t exist.
Super frustrated considering how much the food costs.
We love this place and hope they do better.
Would be nice to get our actual order for what we paid for and ordered.
This has now happened twice in a row, and perhaps work on these details.

The fried chicken here is really tasty! You can even choose your own spicy level, which is great. The only downside is that the indoor seating can feel hot and stuffy since the air doesn’t flow well. If the outdoor seats are full and you have to sit inside, it can get a bit uncomfortable — especially when the chicken is extra spicy, haha!

I came back after few months later and surprisingly realized that recipe seems been changed. I normally order hot or extra hot for my chicken thighs, however, it’s not hot at all this time for hot level and flavor was way lighter than before. Very disappointed that my missed flavor is gone.

Recent visit left me very disappointed. Their stuff taste different now, not nearly as good as it used to be.
I have been a fan of Downlow since they first opened (I remember when the line up was like 45 minutes!) Always loved it, the thigh, the fries, the burger. Yummy.
For the past 2 years I felt like stuff tasted the same but just not as good as before. This recent visit however, I noticed the taste was different. It makes us suspect they changed recipe or something.
Even the fries was not as good (the fries was the only item that remained consistent throughout the years, but even that seems to have changed now!)
I sincerely hope they change things back to the way it once was. Because this used to be one of the best chicken places in town.

Absolutely amazing food and service at Downlow Chicken! The chicken strips were perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavour. I tried the Reaper hot level and wow… it absolutely destroyed me, but it was still totally worth it. Great spot for anyone who loves quality fried chicken and friendly service!

The best chicken I’ve ever had. Their flavours, sauces, chicken, everything was beyond perfection. Had their hot and extra hot tenders - absolutely delicious. It’s not a dine in restaurant vibe- patio is pretty good, and servers are also pretty nice. Overall, a great place to try.
My wife and I love the sandwiches. The kids love the tenders and thighs. the DL sauce I liquid gold, you can eat it with just about anything.
The staff are always kind and courteous. The place is always vibing and vibrant.

The cashier was super lovely! All the staff have the vibest of vibes. Also they had a promotion where $2 from every Sando went towards building a basketball court. We love community leaders. Being a gay person the downlow guys are always the sketchiest but in this case they're the best!

Was my first time here. The staff was really amazing and the chicken was cooked to perfection got thighs and chicken tenders. Got Fear The Reaper it was not spicy. Eating with no sweat, even the staff was shocked! I guess I shouldn't be fearing the reaper. Other than that really amazing and lovely place to visit.
