Best greasy spoon I know of on the south side. Breakfast Special is a great deal, $9.95 for two eggs, bacon, toast, and truly excellent hashbrowns.
(edit: inflation)
Today my mom and I went to this restaurant for breakfast and arrived around 1:35 pm. We wanted to order pancakes with bacon, but were told they don’t serve pancakes or French toast between 11am–2pm. We missed the note on the menu, so that part is on us. So to clarify, they serve pancakes between either 9am-11am, or 2pm-3pm the last hour that they’re open. Since it was almost 1:45 and the restaurant was very quiet, with only one other person there, I politely asked if they might make an exception to prepare the pancakes a bit early. The server said no, which we accepted, and we planned to wait just over 15 minutes.
While waiting, I noticed on the top of the menu it says “Serving Breakfast All Day”. I calmly mentioned, “Just a little feedback, I noticed your menu says this, I think it can be a bit confusing and misleading if it says you serve breakfast all day. Perhaps it shouldn’t say that on the menu.” The server became irritated and responded, “hey, I just work here, I don’t make the rules.” When I reassured her that we were just sharing feedback, she rudely repeated, “You know I hear it all the time! All the time. I just work here!” while walking away mid sentence. In my opinion, if that’s something they hear all the time, then perhaps they should change their messaging on their menu to avoid these situations.
I work in the service industry and was respectful throughout, so her tone and reaction felt unnecessary and unprofessional. After her last comment, we decided to get up and leave. I said, “We were simply providing some constructive feedback. There’s no need to be rude.” She replied in a snarky tone, “I wasn’t being rude!” as she walked away to the kitchen without any acknowledgment.
Overall, I highly recommend going elsewhere. This place advertises all-day breakfast but has confusing, broken-up breakfast hours, and the service we experienced was rude and dismissive.

Feels like a small town diner in a big city. Solid place for brunch. Nothing fancy, just good.

Its a cute small mom & pop type of local restaurant in south Vancouver, the atmosphere is retro type and its in a retro 90s 80s building , has parking lot ,and nearby to bus stops. Its got verity including vegetarian, its more then a breakfast place they also got burgers 🍔, 🍲 soups ,fish and Chips 🍟. Indoor seating with tables chairs and booths, little bit outside seating, staff here are good

Earlier in the afternoon decided to give them a try, especially considering the reviews of the restaurant, so I tried their Open Faced Denver with fries. The size of the meal was good, although considering the price it was fair-good, likely other items on their menu are of a similar size and even more affordable. I liked as well the options for sugar and the condiments on the tables. The service was simply fair, the location could look a little bit more clean (although it's not like it's dirty either), and the atmosphere was despite not being the type of atmosphere I feel the most comfortable with, had its kind of personality.

Came here on a whim while passing by and was very pleased with my experience. It's an older style inside- which means they either know their stuff or haven't updated, and it did not disappoint- it was delicious and came very quickly after ordering.
It felt like a steal to get such a good meal for less than $15 and I will definitely be back again!

The whole vibe is 80-90 decor plus all the hand written menus on walls. Interesting and chill. Food was not bad and I really liked the hash browns!

It's a typical diner type atmosphere. The food was good but my husband's corned beef had not much meat on it. Service was great.

Really good food.
Consistent and great value.
Daily Specials are on offer for some extra savings but not to move older stock.
I will say I am big on the mushroom burger and Salisbury steak.
Best fries ever.
