I came here with high expectations, especially looking forward to the Peking duck three-course experience. I’ve dined at Dynasty before and always appreciated the tradition of presenting the duck on a cart, trimming the crispy skin at the table — a signature part of the meal.

However, during this visit, I was shocked and disappointed. My guest and I were not given the same experience. Instead, the duck was brought out already portioned, and the serving size felt noticeably smaller than what I’ve seen presented at other tables. What made it worse was that the table directly beside us, who were Asian, received the full tableside service with the cart, the carving, and a much more generous presentation.

It felt like we were being treated differently because we were not Asian. Dining should never make guests feel excluded or diminished in this way. For a restaurant of this reputation, I expected consistency and respect for all patrons.

This was not just disappointing — it was appalling. If the restaurant values its reputation, I hope they take this seriously and ensure all guests are treated with equal respect and experience.

I normally love the Dynasty chains and have been to the Rmd ones a number of times. I was in meetings in the same building so decided to try this W Broadway location and order take out. The service for my order was not good. They were not busy in the restaurant yet but perhaps understaffed. Once I got my order my Har gow tasted like soap. I have never had such horrible takeout before. I will give this restaurant another chance And actually go in and sit down and eat, but for now I would definitely not recommend takeout.

This rating is for their dimsum only. Frankly I was underwhelmed. I tried their shrimp crepe, eggplant stuffed with fish/shrimp, hargow, shumai, and scallop fried rice. I like to have my dimsum with a little soy and/or chili oil. Apparently they don’t do that here, or it’s in super short supply. Also, any fried rice should to be good with scallop in it but this dish took a long to to come and it was super dry. Maybe their lunch/ dinner selections are a different story but for dimsum, I give it a pass.

My mom and I joined a tour group from Seattle to Banff national park and stopped here for dinner. The food that the tour group ate was wonderful and ate vegetarian fried rice, beef tendon in teriyaki sauce and others. The service was wonderful and that there were lots of people there.

Thought the dim sum here was overall really high quality. We ordered the daikon cake, the siu mai, the rice rolls, chicken feet, and short ribs. I thought everything really hit the nail and was very tasty. The only thing was I thought the chicken feet flavouring could have been a little bit better.

My favourite dim sum restaurant in Vancouver. Service is great with the attentiveness of mgrs Lina and Victor. Make sure to register your car at the entrance and get reimbursed.

While it doesn't have a star, this place is on the Michelin Guide and so, we wanted to try it out. Had dimsum and overall, food is good quality and made with nice ingredients (the steamed crab and shrimp dumpling had solid chunks of the shellfish in the filling). Service is prompt and attentive. Pretty clean and not too noisy. Just keep in mind that for the step up, you will be paying more.

It was my first time here. It was a great experience. All of the dishes were delicious. I would definitely return for more. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

While I was prepared for the higher prices on the menu, I expected the quality of service to match. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The service was poor and inattentive. Even more disappointing, our food and sauces were taken away before we had finished eating, without asking if we were done. This made the dining experience feel rushed and disrespectful. The michelin guide is very questionable.
