Had to wait an hour and a half to even receive the food. And 30 minutes for the appetizer which was a singular plate of fries. 30 minutes for fries. When we did receive the food it was cold. We had waited 1h and 30mins for cold food. For food that isn’t exactly on the low end, I’d at least expect it to come out warm.

Unfortunately, our recent experience at Earls was quite disappointing. My husband and I visited the restaurant for lunch on April 20th to meet with clients for a business meeting. We started with a dynamite roll appetizer, which was brought out alongside our client's lettuce wraps, despite being ordered as her main dish. After finishing the appetizer, it took over an hour for our entrees to arrive, after reminding our server, Bryce.When the entrees finally arrived, my husband received a shrimp omelette instead of the ham he ordered. Despite waiting an hour for the dish to come out wrong, it was only discounted as half price, which felt unfair. Additionally, we had to remind our server about our round of drinks, after waiting over 20 minutes.Our bill totaled $245, and while my husband typically doesn't leave bad tips even with poor service, and did not want to make a fuss in front of our clients. We expected more from Earls. Unfortunately, this experience fell short of our expectations

We went with our small team (4ppl) for dinner and drinks and all decided to order the steak. It literally was the BEST steak that I have ever eaten. We all thought so! Seasoned so well and delicious. Thank you steak chef! We will def be back and we all still talk about it.

A nice Earls - you can't go wrong really. The patio gets some great sun on a nice day, and there's a more than decent happy hour for both food and drinks. A great variety of vegan options, also.The staff are a lovely bunch, in particular Brooke and Chris, who've looked after me countless times in the past while. They're a real credit to this spot. The service is always attentive, and they are both so personable and genuine. Always look forward to seeing them when I pop in for an hour or two in the afternoon.

Excellent service and food. Chris, our server, was outstanding. He guided us through our possible selections with skill and continued to look after us while dealing with 5 other tables. My surf and turf was delicious. Great ambience while watching the hustle and bustle on Robson while sipping wine and dining.
Really nice modern pub style place. Delicious food and top notch service. I had a delish steak and BC wine. Reasonably priced for good quality. A bit noisy but that's the pub vibe. Looks like nice outdoor seating but rainy when I visited so I sat inside.

His service was so exceptional that I secretly suspected he had a PhD in Hospitality. Oliver's knack for making every guest feel like royalty was truly remarkable. Despite my best intentions, life's chaotic dance kept me from sharing the tale of Oliver's greatness until now... 5 years later. Here's to you, Oliver, for turning a simple meal into a memorable experience, even if my review is fashionably tardy.
