Earnest Ice Cream | Frances St.

The first time my sister and I visited this place, we ordered matcha ice cream to share. My sister really liked the taste of it, I think you will like it if you are the type of person who likes to eat more milk because the matcha taste doesn't really pop out to me. In short, my sister loved it and asked to come back =)) Thank you for the wonderful experience !!

Terrible customer experience with this store.. first time come here at 7 pm and feels like they are rushing us to get out and close the shop. This is a TWO SCOOPS 8 dollars ice cream are you kidding me…. Nothing can comparing to the one at North Van.. will never come back here.. good luck for people come here… ;)

Im customer of earnest ice cream for many years now this location is one of my fav. Sometimes there is a a short line up sometimes no. Just depends on season and time.

Vegetarian options: They have vegan options and it’s delicious

Living next to this location was dangerous because of the amount of ice cream we consumed. But we miss it so much now because it was the best treat. This is also just my favorite location for Earnest ice cream because it's so nice to grab some ice cream and head to the park afterwards to eat it

Always went to mount pleasant location before.
First time came here, no line which is great!
Two complains for the experience here:
1. A girl (forgot to ask her name) was helping us with a little bit of attitude (I’m not sure if she’s having a bad day?) because the whole time we were pretty polite asking if we can try this or that flavour since earnest is known for really yummy new flavours every months! And she seems really impatient with no lines?? Absolutely making people feeling pretty bad and don’t really want to come back for this location anymore.
2. When we ask to put two scoops on a waffle cone, and was worried that we won’t be able to finish on time before start melting, so ask an additional small cup, she charged us extra $0.6 for it(which never happened at the mount pleasant location!!)
Won’t come back for this location again!!

I tried the Chocolate Hazelnut Brownie, and I loved it!

P.S. I dropped a pint jar and shattered it in the store, but the staff was so nice and kind that I didn't feel uncomfortable. I'm really sorry again.
