Earnest has really embraced vegan choices; they've gone from 1 plant based choice, to half of the menu being vegan. Complete with vegan toppings and gf cones! I had an amazing scoop of bumble berry crumble on a GF waffle cone. Common allergens were clearly listed and the staff were very knowledgeable about the choices for limited diets! A big improvements since their inception!
Just like their slogan, it’s really SERIOUSLY GOOD!
Be sure to come in and give it a try if you're passing by.

Very solid ice cream that is definitely worth the wait. This place has one of the best Cookies and Cream ice cream flavours I have ever tasted. The portion size per scoop is also pretty good. Would love to come back here next time.

For our first time in Vancouver, family suggested that we must go to Ernest Ice Cream before we leave. So we headed there on a late night.
I got a Double Scoop with the cone upside down in the cup, which is how I usually get ice cream. We ordered the London Fog and the Chocolate Hazelnut Brownie. The London Fog was impeccable. I love flowery and anything Earl Grey, so this was perfect. The Chocolate Hazelnut was great too, solid flavor and loved the brownie chunks in it too. It was like a sweet little surprise. For both ice cream flavors, the consistency was perfect. It was very creamy yet very smooth, delicious, and the flavor shined in each bite. It was also the perfect amount of sweetness too.
The ambiance and overall aesthetic was nice; it was clean, very cute white brick touches, and also a little industrial. When we arrived, we were very lucky. Apparently having a line out the door was common. There was no line at all, and service went really smooth. I was surprised at our wait time.
And even if we did have to wait in a long line, Earnest Ice Cream would be worth it. I don't know when I'll be back but when I do, I'll make it a point to come here :)

Best icecream in the city. Summertime there’s always a line but it moves quicker than you’d think. My favourite thing is their fun seasonal flavours, they always do a fantastic job with unconventional flavours. The sundaes are also amazing.
This is my formal petition to bring back blackberry coriander
Dietary restrictions: Vegan icecream that compares to dairy and does not taste like coconut or oats!

Hands down the best ice cream in BC! If there’s a long line for cones, you can skip it by going to the counter and buying a pint instead.

The best chocolate ice cream I’ve ever had! It was very rich and tasted like dark chocolate without the bitter aftertaste. My friend got the pumpkin spice latte which was delicious as well, but still easily beat by the chocolate. Service was fast and they cleared the line quickly. Highly recommend!

The service staff has a very good attitude. If you tell him the flavor you want to try, he will let you try it before purchasing and choose the ice cream flavor you want.

If you want to pay $8.75 for a mediocre ice cream sandwich bar, check this place out. Nothing special, more overpriced than anything. Servers were friendly. Parking is difficult to find as there’s only limited paid street parking available.
