Elbo Jamaican Patties Inc

I grew up with Tastee patties in Toronto, and haven't found one I truly love as much in Victoria. Whenever I visited Toronto I would pack two boxies of patties to bring home!

I recently tried Elbo's beef patty, and really enjoyed it!! Brought home 1/2 dozen beef and jerk chicken.

My friend had the mushroom patty and loved it!

One compliant, I found it hard to find them in the market. It would be helpful to have directions of how to get there. Information walked me over (I was in a wheelchair).

Also I didn't realize the hot item I ordered wasn't a patty...because of the wheelchair I couldn't see it, just read the name. So while I thought I was ordering a patty it was something else from another company. The filling was good, but I did not enjoy the outer pastry or whatever it was.

I wish them the best and hope they continue to grow! I am not in Vancouver often, but was sad to see ALL of my favorite restaurants had closed :(

I've been a fan for a few years now...spicy beef is the family's favourite. We did a catering order in January for a family event, and Chris was easy to communicate with and brought the patties all hot and ready to serve.

The pastry is flaky and delicious - I could eat these every day!

They sell out fast at the place on the Drive where we get them, so when they're in stock, we buy a couple of bags at a time!

Hands down the best Jamaican patties in the city. The pastry is light and crispy with the perfect level of spice in the filling. I ordered 2 bags of the spicy beef and am so happy I have found my place for authentic Jamaican patties. Thank you so much, they are super delicious!

Crazy amounts of turmeric, watch out for stains.Terrific, high quality beef filling. You're paying for it, but that's not a bad value. Zero filler.Seasoning is very good, not great. Has the fruit notes of the best patties but not the spice complexity.Pastry is good, not great. Doesn't have the butter one gets from the best. Disappointing, especially at $40 a dozen.Their Jamaican "Ketchup" is terrific.

Well I travelled across the country to try these parties and they did not disappoint! I also travelled back home with a bag and they still taste amazing!!

Elbo Patties is my number 1 go to snack/meal/potluck dish! Easy to order (either online for pickup or via delivery). Vegan and vegetarian options that are sooooo divine! My favs are the garden chilli & the vegan beef patties.
