Very kind server checked ingredients in the ice cream for us and was very thorough. They did not make it a chore at all! Really appreciate it as checking for allergens can be a real pain. They use Chapmans ice cream which is great!

I think not having dedicated servers makes service really disorganized. We received the wrong drink twice, by two different servers. We sat for a long time after we finished with empty drinks without being offered anything else. We had to ask for our bill. It was really loud. The food was fine, but the vibe was not for me.

Had a very late brunch, turns out it's their happy hour time. Without hesitation, I picked their $5 red wine, paired with the main course trucker's plate, which consists of their buttery-tasting sourdough bread, a selection of protein I chose (sausage), and their crunchy and delicious breakfast potatoes, also served with two fried sunny-side eggs.
Unfortunately, they don't serve poached eggs after breakfast time
But overall it was worth it!

Pretty good spot! The portions were a little on the smaller side, but the pork belly bennys were delish!

Came here in the morning when they opened. Service was fast and friendly but the wait time for food was over 30 minutes, and it wasn’t busy. I ordered the beef brisket dip and it was not at all what I was expecting. The meat was weirdly spicy, inedible gristle, and was served without au jus- I had to ask for it on the side. A beef dip without au jus is just a sandwich. When the au jus arrived it was in a small ramekin and the flavour was sour (not sure if it was vinegar but it was not tasty). Overall a really disappointing experience, I was hoping for better. On the plus side it seemed clean inside.

Great food and very friendly and attentive staff. Vibey diner style setting with comfortable seating. We went there before a nearby show at The Fox theatre. Turns out Fable Diner offers a discount when you present a ticket for a show at The Fox (must be day of show). Wonderful experience!

We ordered as soon as we got to our table and still waited 30min+ for our food to come out. It was good breakfast food but nothing super special that would warrant that wait. It was very busy so I understand the delay— that being said there are other spots in the area that would serve you better food for the same or shorter wait. The Hostess also seated others who came after us first which was confusing and a bit frustrating. Don’t think I’ll be back again.

Friends and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Fable Diner last night. The music was outstanding and the server was kind and accommodating. It felt like a cozy neighborhood hangout. Loved it!

Food is good as usual. But our server was no where to be found as my order came out incorrect and I wanted to correct it. But she never came so I just had to accepted my order as it came. She looked like she forgot about our table and I had to ask a different server for our bill. Our server then marches right over and says to her coworker “I’ll do this” (with attitude). We don’t come here often anymore because the service has just gone downhill.

The food was great, the service was first rate. My only quibble is that, as someone with a large appetite, I found the portions on the small side, although good value for the price.

I came here because I wanted to try the meatloaf.
Strangely enough, I had only ever seen meatloaf in movies and TV shows, so I really wanted to taste it for myself.

Unfortunately, I went during lunch, and meatloaf wasn’t normally served at that time.
When I told the server that I had come specifically for the meatloaf, they kindly made it for me even though it was outside of serving hours.

My very first meatloaf was absolutely delicious — it was truly moving.
I’ll probably remember this every time I see meatloaf in a movie or drama.
Thank you so much!
