3/21/2024Had an excellent lunch and enjoyed the fresh foods. Our server was very nice though sometimes she spoke so softly it was hard to hear, but she was very attentive and took good care of us. I was not a fan of the Hazy IPA, but I was trying something new, beer is so subjective. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. I would go back if we are ever in town again.

The burger is good, the fries are a bit salty, the lamb set with Caesar salad and a glass of light beer is a good deal, and the beer is smooth.

I stopped in to reminisce and enjoy the atmosphere and food. (Disclaimer) I worked here for a while when it was the Kingston Taphouse in the 2000's and it was an amazing time in my life there. Ron M. and his team have continued the legacy in this great space and location. The food is still great and the service is top notch as it has always been. Sincere thanks for keeping the memories alive of this wonderful location in the heart of Vancouver no-less. Cheers!

Fable was outstanding once again! We had a large party and we were celebrating my son's 25th birthday, the food and service were both spectacular I highly recommend and Fable has become a favourite of ours ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Always super short staffed and long waits for someone to come to the front desk to seat you. The staff are super nice and the food is good, but not reliable if wanting an experience where they ensure the guest is prioritized.

Fun atmosphere. Great service. Food was alright, nothing special. But it’s still a nice place to go out to with friends.
I had the chicken waffle benny. It was not exactly what I expected. Not saying it wasn't good just I missed having syrup with it. It was served with a nice flavored gravy. Again, just nit the flavor I was looking for. I'd definitely go back though as the service was great and it is a surprisingly HUGE, beautiful space.

Decent pricing The meal I chose Duck Ravioli was dry. It needed more sauce. Otherwise the flavour were very good. My partners meal smoked salmon and prawn pasta was also dry. The atmosphere is that of a sports bar with lots of TV tuned into sporting events.

Fable should be embarressed to put thier name on this business. We had a group of 7 and 6 meals were really quite bad. Avoid this place at all costs. It was truely terrible. I have never taken the time to give a bad review but in this case everyone should know to STAY AWAY

We were looking for a sit-down restaurant close enough to The Centre that we could walk over after dinner with my 90 year old mom. I wasn't sure how to plan that in downtown Vancouver. Fortunately Richards offers a 'passenger zone', no need to worry about cars ramming into you when you come to a stop at the curb. The food was great, our server was attentive and friendly, the ambience was nice with the beautiful brick walls as a backdrop. I was phoned within 30 minutes of leaving to let me know my gloves had been found and were being held for me. All around a very positive experience, I'd do it again. My only sadness was that pizza was off the menu last night.
