“Had the sher meat poutine and wow was it delicious!! The size was surprising to say the least. I'm a big guy and had trouble finishing it all. Everything in it was super fresh. The onion rings on the other hand were not great. They could maybe use a little shaker seasoning as I found them somewhat bland and flavorless. All in all this was a great place to eat, price was fair for the portion size and would definitely eat here again.“

“It's a small but generous place. The staff is very kind and generous. It's impossible for such people to serve you a bad meal. So, I recommend everyone who happens to be there to try it. And anyone who hasn't been there should definitely consider it. Stay well.“
“Friendly as heck!
Food was good (value - medium, more below).
Seating was basic but adequate.
The dudes behind the counter were amazing! (Free drink at lunch, added bonus).
Order:
Chicken shawarma platter (spicy with extra turnips).
I think my whiteness scared them cause it was mild at best.
Chicken was juicy and flavorful, potatoes were surprisingly good - excellent seasoning, salad was ok, no tabouli. Pita was dried out, didn't dig it. Chips were good.
Value.
If you're even slightly hungry, you need to order the platter which will set you back $20 (seems to be average here as even food trucks are $15).
If you're from Toronto, this is a *slightly* elevated Alibabas or Pita Grill but the prices is DOUBLE either of those with less food - but better salad. (Although their takeout bags looked 5*).
Would I eat here again - no.
Woukd I recommend it - likely. The experience, the friendliness, worth the stop.“

“Best food in the city! I come from far away just to get my chicken shawarma plate. He always gives generous portions and his meat is always very fresh. This place has been here a long time and I’ve been coming for nearly 20 years? Great value for such a fresh meal.“

“As usual, I ordered the shawarma platter and the quality is on par with most other establishments in the area. (Although the chicken used to be better when they prepared it on the spit. Now it's done in a convection oven)
I particularly like the whipped garlic sauce they offer. Which I don't see this in many other middle eastern restaurants. The hummus is also light and fluffy.
The Saj wrap was a nice change from traditional pita bread wrap.
I would and will eat here again when I am in the neighborhood“

“Small shawarma place on Robson with huge portions and very tasty dishes. I've tried a dozen downtown places, including Jerusalem Shwarma, Nablus Shawarma, and Mr. Shawarma, and this place really stands out for taste and value. The chicken portion was amazing, and the sauces enhanced the flavor. While I'm not a huge fan of the tabouleh, I might try substituting it for Greek salad next time if they allow it. Overall, excellent value for the portion size, and the taste was amazing with the garlic, hot, and tahini sauces.“
