An absolute 5/5 stars. Stopping in for a late lunch, the view from the window seat. I ordered Spicy and Sour Pork Noodle Soup. The balance of spicy and sour is spot-on it so gooddddddddd ~ so impressed staff are so nice and polite ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Third time here and the food continues to be great, and the service is top notch! Waitlist moved quickly despite us arriving in the middle of lunch, and our servers consistently checked in on us throughout our meal.

Tried the Tom Yum Goong noodle and the special Pork Hot Pot noodle and they are both perfect! The broth is rich and flavourful with an interesting blend of veggies & spices. These two options both have an excellent balance of savoury, sour and herbal taste.

Spicy Boat Noodles were amazing. Perfect amount of kick. However… it’s the exit you really need to worry about.

Great service, we sat by the door so was a bit squishy, century egg really good. Beef noodle soup 5/5. Duck soup a little sweet for me. Will go back!

Was a little disappointed in the boat noodles that were really hyped by social media. The broth was definitely missing a little more citrus. Overall the noodles were executed well and the staff are very friendly.

Fat Mao in Vancouver is a fantastic spot for comforting, flavor-packed Southeast Asian noodles. The highlight is absolutely the spicy boat noodles — rich, aromatic broth with just the right kick and unbelievably tender cuts of meat. Portions are satisfying, service is quick, and the whole place has a cozy, casual vibe. A must-visit if you love bold noodle dishes.

Service was great. Got the khao soy chicken curry and it was okay. I wasn't impressed with the dish we got. Chicken within the dish was good.

Great soup but not as spicy as I was expecting but be warned, it’s quite oily!
I recommend the Hot and Sour Pork.
The veggie soup was ok, but I wouldn’t order it again

My favourite spot for a warm and cozy meal. I alternate between the chicken khao soi and the Tom yum soup. Just incredible everytime
We came in here on a rainy day and their noodle soup did just the trick to warm us up! Really friendly staff who were so sweet to my toddler.
