I came into the cafe and the barista didn't even greet me. She just stood there staring at me waiting to take my order with the POS machine in her hand. I think this was very unprofessional of her as this should be something she should work on. I was asking her a few questions regarding her latte sizes and she was hesitant to answer and then directed me to look at the screen instead. I asked her if they had oat milk and she said yes but didn't confirm if that is what I wanted in my drink. As she was making the drink I asked her if she put oat milk and I just received a death stare from her in other words she didn't want to remake the drink again. She proceeded to charge me about $1 or more for the milk substitute which I was okay with but the barista that worked on December 3rd in the afternoon had an attitude and her customer service was not acceptable. I am sorry to any other customers who have received this same treatment. I will not be visiting this cafe anymore.

They gave me soggy, gross lettuce in my sandwich… I had to pick it out :( My drink also wasn’t hot and service wasn’t very friendly. Better off going to Starbucks across the road.

Door wide open super chilly. Ask to close it the heavier set Asian woman working says she’s hot .. meanwhile paying to sit here : /

Ask again in an hour and rolls her eyes, cuts me off to go shut it resentfully

High end coffee shop, stickers on the cutlery but better keep your coats on

Stale baked goods sold as fresh.

Edit: appreciate the owners invitation. I bought a palmier and a cookie both of which tasted stale. I’m sure you have goods that are baked, or perhaps reheated, daily but when I came in around 3pm that day the palmier was not crisp, flaky and clumped together when I tried to snap it. What a shame.

Please do better. Maybe check out what they do at Small Victory around the corner.

On my way to play pickleball I could not resist to have a n exellent hot chocolate. The friendly staf then recomend me to try the St. Honoré Cake, so after my games I pick it up on my way home...Delicious (did not last long) and a good ambassador for the french dessert. Will be back and will try the other location.

As a French pastry lover, I can say mon Dieu, Faubourg Yaletown is the real deal! The croissants are so flaky they could almost fly away — just like in Paris on a windy morning. The coffee is spot on, and the staff serve it with a smile that would melt even the iciest Vancouver day! 🇫🇷🥐☕

Surprising and disappointing — this café only carries “barista” versions of almond and soy milk which are loaded with sugar and cream, with no unsweetened options at all. When I asked, the response was dismissive. For customers who drink coffee daily, being forced to consume hidden sugars and preservatives is not just inconvenient, it’s a health concern. In today’s café culture, offering a clean, unsweetened alternative should be the standard.
I truly hope management reconsiders, because offering healthier options is not only good for business, it shows genuine care for customers’ well-being.

Such a cute French cafe, we went twice while staying next door at Opus. Had flat whites, ham and cheese croissants, chocolate croissants, caneles, crepes…all so delicious! Very friendly staff and good vibes 👏

The matcha latte was just milk and I couldn’t taste the matcha at all. The server was also trying to figure something on the iPad so she didn’t realize I was ready to order for 2 minutes. I didn’t mind waiting, but it is something that needs to be brought up incase someone else was in a hurry.

Grabbed an Americano and Madeline for a quick breakfast. The Americano was okay, and the Madeline was for. It was too sour.

But their barista were nice and friendly
