Small, and cozy looking spot. Coffee was not sour but lacked body. Not a big deal. I was given a small pastry with my coffee as a present. Which was a nice gesture. Good place to hang out for a little while. Don’t think it will do great as it is located between a JJBean and a Starbucks. I hope it does. The city needs more independent coffee houses. Less franchises.

The food and coffee at this café are excellent. However, there's a notable drawback for those looking to settle in with their laptops for a while, they have a tendency to crank up the AC after you've been seated for some time (happened to me last 2-3 times).Who in the world turns on the AC in winter? This oversight suggests that the concept of hospitality isn't their top priority. It's a 'come in, place your order, pay, and leave' kind of vibe.It would be more considerate to either clarify a seating time limit or just not offer WiFi at all. This is Vancouver, folks—patrons expect to linger in cafes. Overall, it's a disappointing.Anyway, there are hundreds of places in this city where they can treat you better for the same price.

Coffee was good. When they handed me my coffee they threw this weird plastic wrapped muffin that they pulled from the microwave down beside my coffee and said it’s free. Uh no thanks ?… not sure what this promotion is trying to drive but it turned me off of the idea of buying a pastry from there.

Friendly service, nice jazz music in the background. Unfortunately, I'm rating them 1 star as there were too many flies. The food had flies on them. The wall was littered with flies. I found it difficult to enjoy our coffee with all the flies circling. And I couldn't stomach eating the baguette knowing where they had landed. No intervention was noted that the staff was doing anything about the infestation. This could be a nice spot if they cleaned up the flies. Ew.

Small but busy French cafe/bakery in yaletown. Good viennoiseries with wide range of selection. Phyllo was flaky but more moist than other places, choux was very tasty.

Croissants and pain au chocolat are good but unjustifiably overpriced. The waiter's barely smiling and does not seem to be really happy to be here

I wanted to like this place… ordered a latte and it was made so lazily / sloppy… tasted muddy.. absolutely terrible. Spend your money at a real cafe.

I would not recommend taking food to go. I wish I ate there because I would’ve asked them to cook it longer. I was waiting a while for it so I’m confused. They served a bunch of other customers while I waited. By the time I ate my crepe it was cold and soggy. French onion soup was also cold and isn’t very good. Regret spending over $30 on my meal I barely ate. I won’t get food here again, drinks are usually pretty good tho.

I love the quality of the coffee and those tiny cute macarons. Try vanilla - it’s the best!

This is a beautiful French style cafe that has a wide variety of pastries, sandwiches, drinks and desserts. I had a Cajun chicken sandwich which was freshly made and served hot. It was larger than I expected made with a whole baguette approximately a foot long for $13. The dessert window is really beautiful too which colourful macaroons and beautifully made desserts.

I‘ve been wanting to check out the downtown store since their West Vancouver location sadly closed and it turned out to be a big disappointment. This is the worst Canele I’ve ever had. It‘s almost like rubber. I showed the cut canele to the staff, and he only asked me if I would like to get a new one heated for me? why bother since the whole batch is the same quality? there is a lot of room for improvement in their pastry’s quality control and service, and the price is $4.8 ?‍?。The coffee was also terrible.
