We could not get coffee. Music was cranked up extremely high. No background music here, just noise. Food was ok but we did not stay past the appetizers.

First time there I had heard a lot of great things about it and it's all true. Went there to celebrate an anniversary with friends and the service was amazing! Food and drinks were delicious it was a great experience will be back!

Food & drinks were good but wouldn't go back service sucked ! Yaletown is such a great area for restaurants & service at other restaurants is usually amazing ! On there Instagram they had all you can eat tacos for $10 ( which apparently they ran out of but we were able to still order regular tacos?) $12 marg specials that she charged more on the bill and I had to tell her on Instagram its $12 so she had to go back to change it...

We enjoyed our evening at El Guapo. Great service, nice patio with heaters. The fajitas were excellent with all the toppers you would want (guacamole, pico, sour cream, cheese, lettuce), and the taco salad was very good. We will definitely return.
Good restaurant in Downtown Vancouver area, with a variety of foods and drinks.

I like the patio (when the heaters aren't set too high). I like the location. However, the service is often poor and the food is always over cooked and only vaguely resembles Mexican food. I would say it's very Canadianized Mexican'ish food and definitely overpriced. I've been going anyway, for drinks mainly, because I do like the patio and it's close to home but the last time I was there I was overcharged. It was happy hour and my bill was $44 for two beers and happy hour nachos. I will go elsewhere from now on. What a waste of a nice patio in Yaletown.

Two big drawbacks- first, the noise level was terrible, with loud music playing over speakers and people having to talk loud just to be heard at their table. Had to move from inside to outside table just to cut down on noise. Second, not sure why female waiters need to wear skimpy clothing unless restaurant is trying to attract only young men. Would think we were past the 80s notion that women employees need to dress this way. Male staff did not wear tank tops or tight clothing.
