I got a fresh olive loaf of bread from here. It was vegan and delicious! I’ve also found it’s stayed fresh a lot longer than most freshly bought bread.

I will definitely be buying fresh bread from here more often :)

Best chocolate chip cookies in the city and of course my go-to (sliced) sourdough. Berry muffins in summertime are next level -and I’m not usually a muffin gal.

Coffee is ok nothing special, decent. Cookies not worth the price $4 would be better if thicker and was so small (wasn’t sure if we were eating pancakes or a cookie? ) logo is cute tho. They don’t take coins for payment

people don’t know this, but fife’s breads are in some of the best restaurants in the city including michelin recommended and michelin stared.

the atmosphere is cozy, staff is friendly and everything they sell is amazing. they will literally go out of their way to buy the best milk for their coffee drinks and use the best quality ingredients for their breads.

fife IS the best bakery in Vancouver.

I ordered a pie here along with some other goodies but the pie seemed to be quite runny. The crust also seemed quite pale and unlike the golden crust pictured online. I wasn’t sure if it was baked long enough / supposed to be that runny but when sliced, it oozed out. I reached out to them wondering if it was supposed to be like that and if it needed to be refrigerated or not as it wasn’t mentioned when I picked it up. They responded suggesting yes, it should be refrigerated. They offered me a refund right away and another pie on the house. I did not expect that at all! Although the pie was not to my expectation nor did they make a note on refrigeration, I feel like they really handled this situation better than I imagined. I will also add, I’ve had other items from Fife and they were good.

** updated review! Fife reached out and let me try again. I came today with a friend. Retried the chocolate chip cookie was actually great! Soft and chewy! Yay! Also got a matcha mango iced soda water drink which was excellent.

Thank you for following up!

(Old review no longer relevant! But just to see how amazing the customer support is at Fife)
Bought a chocolate chip cookie. It’s definitely over cooked. Tasted a little burnt. It doesn’t look like other peoples cookies :( that were posted.

But the service and place is cute. I’m sure other things are good
