I was so late in meeting my friend here and rushed in to find her. The waiter was rude (older gentleman), actually I think he might have been the gm. When I walked in to find my friend he kept saying hello in a very condescending way. He actually kept saying it three or four times in a mono toned voice to irritate me. It didn’t as I kept replying hello back to him and found it hilarious. I can tell he got annoyed as it wasn’t the reaction he wanted. Very childish and he gets a kick out of this but I’m from a big city and trust me, I’m able to handle people like him. When we were paying the waitress in the pony tail (older lady) was just plain out rude. She tossed the receipt on our take out box and didn’t thank us when we paid. Could they both be comparing notes? Perhaps they just need the sense of feeling they are inferior. Come on.. seriously I was a waitress before so I know they want to feel they are better than the people they are serving so people don’t look down on them. Customers really don’t, especially in a small town like Vancouver. I should add that I’m very aware they are racist. They might as well join Trump and the KKK. Yes, it was that bad. They made it very obvious, because I noticed they served people next to us who were Caucasian very nicely and checked on them to rub it in our face. My friend who is the sweetest person ever, could even sense it. She felt so bad she chose this place for us. Another table who were also non Caucasian wasn’t served very well either. Still tipped them even though it was one of the worse experiences there as the kitchen staff still should get their share.. (hopefully it’s a shared tip system).Not their fault the front end was not taught any manners. They did seem to pick and choose who they wanted to be nice to and serve first. Table who had someone’s birthday and ordered after us got their food quick (all Caucasian). Table next to us as well. I know they absolutely knew and were happy on how they were treating us, so I thought this review would make them happy too.If you are not Caucasian, you should reconsider coming here. Plenty of other places to go to. Helping out guests who plan to come here..basically don’t come here!!!!!. Also doing the restaurant a favor in posting this. I know this is what they want but cannot out right say it. Do not come here if you are not Caucasian. Now they will have ongoing business with all the customers they want. Helped you out Fiore Famiglia! Thank me when you see me which is never.

Ordered the mushroom risotto and braised short rib gnocchi, then concluded the dinner with a tiramisu. I would rank it amongst some of the best Italian food I have had in Vancouver.Really cozy and upscale atmosphere, especially for such an unassuming neighbourhood restaurant. The service was attentive and friendly. Recommended to call ahead for a reservation.

Coincidentally discovered a real Italian gem. Service, taste of food is at its best. Great atmosphere, reasonably priced. I will definitely come back again, highly recommended.

Excellent neighborhood Italian restaurant. I've enjoyed every meal and beverage there. I think the artichoke dip, and the specials really stand out. I've also enjoyed the interactions with staff.
Our first time at this restaurant. We came with a regular so we got a lovely greeting. We ordered the meat and cheese board. We will have it again. We decided to order three dishes and split them. We got the mushroom risotto, chicken Parmesan and the gnocchi. The gnocchi and risotto were excellent. Similar to what I experienced in Italy. The chicken was not something we would order again. We finished with the tiramisu, it was excellent. We will return.
We had the feature burrata with orange jam, feature pesto pasta with goat cheese, and feature pizza with garlic crust and pickled onions! Everything was incredible. We appreciated the vegetarian feature options. Host and waiter were friendly. Will definitely be back.

It was a disappointing lunch. The soup was too salty. The meat ball was not completely heated. Just warmed from freezer? The rice in mushroom risotto was not completely cooked.

Very nice atmosphere inside, and staff make you feel very welcome. Food was excellent and a bit unexpected for a neighborhood restaurant. Pasta was freshly made, sauces were hearty and tasty, and the pizza crust was perfectly made. The combination of exceptional food, service, and setting made us feel like we were transported somewhere downtown….except parking was free. Definitely worth having repeat visits at this restaurant.
