Hmm! I wondered while eating the cod if it’s fresh or fresh frozen! I suspect fresh frozen The batter was nice and crispy, but not sure I will go back again The fries were good!! If I were to compare it to Go Fish on Granville , I would choose Go Fish every time So maybe I will give it another go?

We were greeted the moment we entered by Cassandra. Wonderful service, great fish, great fries. I don't often leave 5 stars, but I couldn't find a fault. All the staff were genuinely friendly, helpful and amazing.

Great tasting fish and chips. We had the halibut shrimp and fish tacos. Very light breading. Great service. Would definitely eat here again

It is a family owned good quality Fish & chip restaurant in midland have two locations one in New West , and this one in Burnaby , dropped in for late lunch it is been a while since my last visit , not much change , very friendly and clean comfortable atmosphere and it is absolute great place for Fish & chips , very reasonable price under $15 and AYCE on Monday to Wednesday ( I remember back in the 2015 only $ 9.95 ) the quality of the fish not too bad , it is Pollock not Cod but still tasty , I love their quality the Fish and Chips not oily very crispy and steaming hot , excellent tartar sauce , menu is about 90% is seafood but lot to choose from , service very friendly feel very comfortable to reorder more Fish , it is great place if you love Fish Chips and hungry like me , also great value for family special there AYCE on Monday to Wednesday ! so drop in any two location , you will thank me for it !

The food is so delicious and always freshly made. Generous portions of fried fish and calamari. Bottomless soft drinks too. The waitresses/waiters are friendly and cheerful. Very welcoming and comfortable atmostphere inside. I am already counting down the days to my next visit. Shannon

Just about 8 mins from order to service for take outs of my favourite fries with chicken strips. Huge pieces of chicken by the way. The real stuff. Freshly battered like “to order” just seconds before it’s dropped in the oil. Doesn’t get fresher than that. Their chips are also fresh and the nice stuff with the peels included. They use environmentally friendly paper to wrap your food so everything is recyclable. So much fries I never finish. There’s enough fries here for “2” people and if they sold this as a 6-piece chicken and fries it would be enough for two people for a light lunch. I’ve never eaten in. But they don’t jump service just for dine in or take out. And their speed is just as fast either way. Oh. The price. Yeah. It’s about $12 for 5 pieces of chicken the sizes are about 2”x5” pieces and you get 5! And fries you get about I would say 1 lb of it. A lot!! The package they hand to you is about 12” wide by 5” deep. Massive!

This is now the best fish and chip place in the area. We travel all the way over or around Burnaby Mtn from Coquitlam just to go to the Burnaby location of Cockney Kings. We enjoy dining here every week or two. Today we ordered the halibut meal as usual, and one piece of grilled salmon, a side of coleslaw, and a full order (too much to eat there) of onion rings, the best of anywhere. All of the servers there have been very friendly and efficient, with a special commendation today for Jeannie (Jeanette) our server, and her sister who seated us.

Best fish and salad ever! They subbed for fries. Mushy peas are good too. We wanted to try the clam chowder but it had bacon in it.
