We were there today. We usually go there to enjoy coffee and snacks. They have a notice there saying you just stay for a hour. We stayed over a hour but had just got a second coffee and coffee beans when we were asked to leave. The employee told us go out because we had stayed more then one hour. We were really disappointed. I have never been asked to leave before. There were empty tables the whole time we were there.

The place is so cozy, quite busy store with beautiful cakes display. Everyone either on computer or chatting with each other. Staff are friendly and the matcha is good enough for me to stay focus.

My go to spot when I'm down on Main to go to Exile. Great coffee. Can be busy but it's a good thing. Go walk around.

As a Vancouver local who's lived in Europe, I must say this is my favorite cafe. The beans, the vibes, the staff, and the location 10/10

I paid $40 today for a panini, a flat white, and a juice and a croissant for my kid. The “avocado mousse” it came with was bad brown sludge. I understand this place is being gouged for rent because of the area and is a place for ppl to posture, but my wife got two banh mi for $15 on Kingsway and Knight today and these ppl need a lesson in how to make a sandwich that provides value for their bs prices.

I love trying out new cafes to work at, and this place was next on my saved list. I visited on a Wednesday and was recommended their Crimson Lemonade. It was okay, on the sweeter side, but it didn’t match the description I was given—adding a bit of water helped, and it was refreshing after.❤️‍🩹

The Wi-Fi was low quality, so I couldn’t get any work done and ended up journaling instead. What didn’t sit right with me was seeing a customer asked to leave for sitting over an hour. I noticed the sign about the 1-hour limit, but there were plenty of open tables inside and out, and the person seemed surprised. I personally would’ve offered them to join my table for a little longer. I left shortly after as I didn’t feel entirely comfortable.🥲😅

Ordered a hot chocolate and cinnamon bun. Hot chocolate was very average, would not order again. Cinnamon bun was ok, but they could not heat it up for me so that the icing melts. The size of cinnamon bun was bigger than my palm. 1 hr limit for seating, and no wifi in the morning.

Oke of the few coffee shops open before 7 on Main , coffee was well done not too roasted with savoury flavours .only issue was didn't have any sweetener but hellish aspartame. Macha freet tea latte is good as well. The server there is one of the most social even early Monday AM . Definitely worth checking out

I’m a coffee drinker who’s particular about my beans, and I’m always on the lookout for a good organic option. After running low on beans, I decided to check out Foglifter today—and I’m so glad I did!
I picked up a bag of the Colombia Nariño Alianza, and brewed a long black with my La Marzocco. It was super smooth, with low acidity and a light sweetness that made it incredibly enjoyable. The beans were fresh, and the flavor was well-balanced—just what I look for in a good organic coffee.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They offered to grind the beans for me, but I declined since I have my own grinder. Still, I appreciated the thoughtful gesture. The shop had a relaxed and cozy vibe, making it the perfect place to unwind or grab beans to go.
I also tried a few of their pastries. The butter croissant was decent—crispy on the outside, moist without being greasy, and balanced with just the right amount of butter. The blueberry-raspberry scone was a bit dry and not very sweet, but I actually liked that—it had a more subtle flavor, which is a plus if you're not into overly sugary pastries. The carrot cake, which has received a lot of positive reviews, was unfortunately way too sweet for me. The texture was great, but I could only manage one bite. If they could dial down the sweetness a bit, I think it would be perfect!
I’ll definitely be back to try more of their beans. If you're particular about your coffee like I am and appreciate a good organic option (plus some tasty pastries to go with it), Foglifter is definitely worth checking out.
