I’ve been here three times. I’ve had the 5 course tasting menu as well as ordered a la carte. Each time I left stuffed and completely happy with the service and food. The food is amazing, very vegetable forward, creative and well presented. It’s the kind of place where you go not just for the food but the overall experience. While the prices are a little on the higher side, keep in mind that the tip is included in the menu price.

It was my parents’ 56th anniversary and the Folke people treated us well.

The food was excellent. The presentation alone was a work of art.

We ordered the small tasting menu. I didn’t think it was going to be enough food since each course was so small, but we were all stuffed by the end.

The restaurant is a bit pricey for me to go all the time, but it is a great choice for special occasions.

Sat at the chef’s counter for an incredible plant-based journey.🌱 Each plate was a work of art, beautifully balanced and full of surprises.

Highlights for me:
🍅 The heirloom tomato salad with fresh herbs and crunchy nuts over a bed of tzatziki—bright, juicy, and absolutely perfect for summer.
The snacks: mushroom arancini and potato rosti to start set the tone right away; playful, crisp, and packed with flavor.
The chickpea tofu, Folke’s signature, reminded me of a silky tom kha—rich, aromatic, and deeply comforting.
🥒 Zucchini done three ways in a smoky-smooth salsa macha—layered, earthy, and just the right amount of heat.

Every course showed so much creativity and respect for seasonal produce. Folke really proves that vegan dining can be luxurious, thoughtful, and downright delicious.

Amazing flavours, thoughtful all-vegan recipes, and exceptional service. In addition to everything being plant-based, there was no issue also having everything in the 5-course taster made Gluten Free (my wife has Celiac and was able to enjoy the whole meal!)

One of the best vegan brunch spots in town. The dutch baby was our favourite and our sever was also very friendly.

Came here with my partner last month and we loved it! We got the ‘8 courses’ for dinner; some of the dishes were not on the menu so we recommend this choice. The dinner ended with a pasta dish (very filling) and then dessert. My personal favourites were the dumplings and pakora. The restaurant was smaller than expected, but still clean and nice. The staff was very lovely and never rushed us. Overall, would come back here again!

Came here with my partner and mom for dinner. We decided to have the 5 course tasting menu, and it was both exceptional and very filling. Honestly, it is one of the best meals I've had in years. The food was creative, savoury, with moments of sweetness throughout. Chickpea Tofu? Excellent and creative idea. The Beet Tartare? Decadent. The Stuffed Squash Flower Bites? A tastey, opening bite that lets you know you're in for something special throughout.

I'll be back. I'll bring friends and family. I'll find reasons to eat here. It was so very very good.

Chickpea tofu dish was the best! We did feel the 5 dish tasting menu wasn’t enough to fill your stomach (don’t go extremely hungry!) again it’s about appreciating the flavor but still I did expect to be slightly more full.
Will come here again and try the entree portions.
Pictures are of the blueberry tart (wish there was more blue berry and less whipping cream, it tasted phenomenal), dumplings, Ramen (tasted great just wish it was warm and not a cold version) , chickpea tofu (favourite dish of ours). We ordered the dumplings separately as we will still a bit hungry after the 5 meals haha (we went starving).

What an incredible experience at Folke this past Sunday.

I appreciate that they offer half portions for those who would like to try a variety of dishes. I tried their chickpea tofu, tapioca dumplings, and tagliatelle - all of which were delicious.

Including hospitality in the prices (i.e. no tipping) was a pleasant surprise.

(Shoutout to Pricilla for lending me a charger - you saved my phone from dying lol.)

I rarely go this far west in Vancouver but I had gone to a special event earlier in the day and was keen on walking around and exploring this side of the city. I'm glad I did and I can't wait to go back.

Next things to try: the multi-course menus and brunch!

Very bland food paired with cheap wine. Restaurant was too noisy. Definitely not worth it.

If I could give negative star, I would give it to this place. Absolutely worst service I've ever got. Seat was denied without proper explanation. There were at least 6 empty seats and we got there at 8 pm, the restaurant closing at 10pm. Extremely rude server and manager - both no communication skills at all.

- reply to the owner : Server and manager did not explain that to us at all. They were very rude as well. I understand that place can be fully booked but it has to be communicated like everywhere else.

-re-reply : No, it wasn't explained at all. If they say that they did, they are lying.
