Surprised at all the low ratings. You aren’t going to McDonald’s expecting a filet mignon are you? This is greasy chinese food. The perfect lunch, especially if you have a napping space. Eat and enjoy. You would be hard pressed to find a restaurant of this quality and value across the continent. The Wok Hei on the rice noodles esp is kind of strong.

Fantastic spot. Been going here for years. Not sure what all the low ratings are about.Heads up though, looks like they’re closed for renovations over the holidays. Hoping they return…

I’m surprised by their low rating as I had a pleasant experience with the food the taste was so impressive and good that I want to write and review to express how much I have enjoyed my lunch at this place.

"They are incredibly generous with their food portions. However, I did notice one of the server a man occasionally checks their cellphone before serving the food. It would be ideal if they could ensure their hands are properly sanitized or washed, as cellphones are known to carry a significant amount of bacteria."

Advertise milk tea for $2.25 but you can’t get a milk tea for less than $3.50 here. Don’t really understand why they haven’t changed the price after I brought this to their attention. Today I paid $4.75 for milk tea even tho the menu says $2.25

Their teas are so good and quite cheap for the size, also great service!

We ordered lunch for our office here and it was amazing. Sandy was a pleasure to deal with over the phone. I explained to her exactly what we wanted and our budget and she gave me so many amazing options to choose from. Our employees loved their lunch and are already asking can we order again. We will 100% be ordering from Fortune express again. 10/10 service, food & communication.Thank you so much Sandy & Family.Vegetarian options: Amazing Veggie dishes. We loved the mixed veg options with broccoli & mushroomsDietary restrictions: Caters for all dietary restrictions

Don’t understand the low ratings because I honestly really love the food. I eat here at least once a week for lunch. Flavour is good, portion is huge, good variety of options. This is my favourite food court chinese food place.

I took the rice noodle, it was horrible. So much oil in it and oil tasted bad. I’m writing this after having twice at this place. The food was bad, very greasy and oily.

Food is quick and affordable. I enjoyed their ice lemon tea. Not great for dietary restrictions due to cross contamination.I found several pieces of meat in my vegetarian chow mien unfortunately. Luckily I noticed those, otherwise it would have made me quite sickVegetarian options: Some options (noodles, rice, spring rolls and veggies). Unfortunately there's a lot of cross contamination and my vegetarian chow mien had 3 pieces of beef and two pieces of chicken in it.

BEST food court chinese food. You can tell its family run, and they are so generous with the portions for the price. Awesome value, I always make 2 meals out of it. I used to work nearby here and go all the time, now that I work from home I still make a point to venture downtown just for this place. They have some different options depending on the day, go on Monday for lemon chicken and Singapore rice noodles <3

This location is family run, and they use ZERO MSG/FRESH INGREDIENTS/FOOD IS COOKED IN SUPER SMALL BATCHES SEVERAL TIMES PER DAY/OPEN FROM AROUND 8 AM TO 3/4 PM?Prices are a little hit and miss. They do post prices. But. The lovely ladies that rings up the order it's more like "approx" one day I would be charged $13+ tax and nearly $15. The next day I paid $12 including tax they always slip a few extras of something. If you ask for noodles they give you a few broccoli and beef or some sweet sour pork. Portions are HUGE. $13 fills the take out boxes you typically see for take out. Nothing is overly salty either. Congee is really good. The chicken one. Lots and lots and lots of chicken. Highly recommend this place. It's super hard to find decent Chinese food and no msg is nearly impossible. And not charging you $17-18 for the same plate of take out is even more rare. Wish I had pics. If I go for lunch there next time I will definitely take a photo. I normally wolf it down cuz I'm so hungry and their food is sooooo good.

Part of my "empty plate" series.Okay so. The person who served me got one of the dishes wrong and started making a different one, but then got that wrong too and just put rice and noodles in a box. Granted, there was some sweet and sour pork in there too. But that was what I ordered in the first dish? She also answered the phone no less than twice while serving me and she was also eating, which I mean a) food safety and b) can I go now?It was snowy and it was the only place open so I'm happy to cut it some slack, especially since we seemed to be on the same page to the extent that she skipped the "tip" page on the payment machine. The food itself? Nothing to write home about. Kinda greasy, bland noodles. Rice was day-old and tasted "like a house burning down," according to my partner. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the beef and pork, and the veggies were fine. Generous portion.I wouldn't personally recommend or go back, but YMMV and it was food in a pinch. Thank you for being open despite the weather, hope you make it home safe!
