Fun spot with great DJs! It’s a shame that the woman working the door is so horrid - and reading reviews we are clearly not the only ones. The way that she squeezed extra money out of us when we already paid for tickets online makes me wonder if she is pocketing the money herself, particularly when it’s all cash. Reading the experience of another reviewer who had their coats held hostage until they paid a fee when they never checked their coats is in line with this too..Being treated so badly at the beginning or the end of your night can really sour your impression of a place so I hope management comes to its senses on this.Will happily adjust my review once staffing issues are solved.

Fun club but not a y2k party unless you actually play music from y2k…. Stayed there for a couple of hours and the DJs changed but sounded very mediocre and the same. Not rlly worth it in my opinion. Bouncers are very fun

I don’t know why those staff are literally on a power trip treating people like absolute trash for doing nothing. Telling people to leave because they are sitting and resting while waiting for their friends. And then literally refusing access to me when I simply wanted to get my coat to leave. Absolutely disgusting.mind you I was inly SITTING and minding my business …..And after reading reviews it seems like those bouncers love treating people like that.

You would expect them to play music from 2010s during their 2010s night but they were only playing music from 2018. also whenever someone put in a request, the DJ would just disregard what they asked. Also the DJ sucked. worst “club” i’ve visited in years. My friend rented out the upstairs lounge and the bartender was amazing koodos to them. they deserve 5 stars but the club DJ definitely ruins the vibe.

Over the past few years, I've been going to Fox Cabaret for their burlesque shows. It's a good time every time. They bring in some quality acts, and the place has a vintage vibe to it. The staff are Friendly and drinks are usually good.

Great venue, good sound, fair drink prices...One thing I was a bit confused about though... I found myself with an extra ticket to a show there, that was going to go to waste. So as I entered the show, i asked the ticket office lady if she could just scan my extra, already paid-for ticket, and simply just give it to the next person who showed up without a ticket. As I would rather give it to someone for free, rather than it just going to waste.She told me she would NOT do that for me? I explained that i had nobody, and actually went outside for a few minutes asking anyone if they'd like the free admission. But in the end, the ticket went to waste.I'm curious as to why this person thought I was asking so much of her? Especially as I've done this a half dozen times before at various venues across Vancouver, and have never encountered a door person less than stoked to help me out by simply letting someone in. Something that actually takes zero extra effort on their part.It's strange to me that ticket takers have no problem putting out a tip jar, for literally stamping hands. But they can't be bothered to do anything above that to earn those tips.

Horrible experience at the Fox. Derogatory, condescending bouncers who need a power trip to feel important. Horrific treatment and will not be returning. The Fox is a joke and I will be telling everyone to avoid at all costs. The bouncers are egotistical, narcissistic, misogynist men, and this is not somewhere I would ever recommend anyone to go.

Bathrooms are unsafe.(Men can wander into womens , and vice versa) no place of solitude. Drinks are unnecessarily expensive.
Small venue with character! Large bar with good variety of drinks. Concert Sound was decent for size of club, audiophiles stay away! Good times

Highly inappropriate security patdown for a mellow midweek band night. Also, beware of WOKE bathroom situation. Both bathrooms designated for BOTH sexes. Women beware of your privacy being invaded by one or more drunk men entering. Also, MEN beware women walking in on you while using URINAL. AWKWARD, and unnecessary. Simply be forewarned this is a woke venue.

I always have a great time at The Fox! Love the themed club nights and it's always a great crowd here. The projection room upstairs is always a great vibe if you want to escape the dance floor for a bit.Cover and bag check is cash only, but there's an ATM inside.
