The food was delicious, especially the valentines sando! The strawberry milk is a perfect naturally sweet drink that I can enjoy! Its was very pleasing to stir the strawberry into the milk! The original souffle pancake was a good blend of egg and sweetness! Not too eggy either. I came to visit but was tired from exploring nearby, so the music and atmosphere was soothing. The staff were really nice as well! It felt similar to a restaurant, which dosent happen too often when I come to cafés, so its very much appreciated! A lovely visit, being able to sketch and relax peacefully 💖

the pancakes are super light, airy and fluffy. very tasty and enjoyable. they have a ton of flavours and toppings to choose from.
Pancakes are kind of funny when you think about it—soft, a little wobbly, almost like a laid-back version of Jell-O. They’re light, tasty, and just sweet enough to keep you coming back for more. Honestly, they’re the kind of thing you could eat every day without complaining.
It’s also the first time in a few months in Vancouver that I’ve tried something new. Guess I’m branching out—one pancake at a time.

I come with my family at least every season to eat delicious and fluffy pancakes.
This is one of the very few places that I truly think they care about food quality and presentation. They have tremendous intentions every season worth visiting and trying. This is a gem in Vancouver.

Ordered tiramisu flavour from Uber. Tasted like heaven. Best Souffle Pancakes in BC. 100% recommend.

Tiramisu soufflé pancakes is a must! It was so good, I'm thinking about it just writing this review. This place gets super busy though!! Limited seating. I would come back again to try the other items next time.
Really good fluffy pancakes and lovely variety of drinks. Worth the wait

Cute little coffee/dessert place. Great shaved ice with speciality coffee. Though our shaved ice took a good half an hour to serve, which was a bit long for something rather small.

Both pancakes were lovely! I would say they could be fluffier, but they were still light enough for you to gobble up in 5 minutes tops. I had two pancakes, one savoury and one sweet.
Okonomiyaki Soufflé Pancake: For $21 for three pancakes, it has a steep price, but it's a once in a while treat! I thought a fluffy pancake that was on the sweeter side wouldn't pair well with the bonito flakes but I was wrong haha! The sauce balances it out well. I would have loved some textural contrast (aka smth crunchy) but honestly, it was still fine. I think that having something crunchy may not have been the chef's goal since they probably want to highlight how light, airy and soft the pancakes are, aka focusing on textural compliments instead of textural contrast.
Matcha Mochi Soufflé Pancake: The handmade matcha sauce was strong and not too sweet (my favourite part of the dish)! It had enough of the bitterness to feel like it wasn't too heavy of a dessert. It was my favourite out of the two, especially with the cream that had a hint of savouriness but still didn't sacrifice on the matcha flavour. The only gripe was the mochi was slightly frozen when I got my plate.
Restaurant was fairly empty when I came in since I came at opening hours on a weekday. The tables were slightly small so make sure to not accidentally elbow another customer haha! Service was nothing special and kept to themselves most of the time, but they were prompt in coming over whenever I needed refills of water.

Overall the restaurant was okay. Very busy and limited place to sit. Reservations are a must. Coffee was great! The fluffy pancakes were a little underwhelming. The savory ones are definitely better than the sweet ones. Overall it’s okay.

It took some time to go to the table, but it's was our fault for not booked in!, and then got some sweet fluffy pancakes with sausages and Benedict eggs? Really? Is that good?.. oh well, it was worth all the wait, amazing! What a combination of flavours, and what an amazing place! Will definitely come back!

first time I came to fufu I was made aware pf two things.
First, getting a reservation is most preferred, they are always packed (which honestly is deserved).
Second, I was definitely going to come back.
since then about 1 and a half or two years ago my wife and I come at least every other month (Vancouver is expensive man). there is nothing I've gotten in fufu that i haven't liked and every plate looks just as amazing as it tastes.
always just the right amount of food, their coffee is also great! wide variety and everything is delicious. definitely recommended, it is in the google maps list of loved places I share to anyone who visits us from abroad!
