I don’t even love chocolate and this place will make you fall in love with artisan, handcrafted, delicate and amazing chocolates with creative flavours. This is high quality and incredible. A totally different experience than Purdy’s and worth it. My fave is the fig and ganache! And a dairy free mango sorbetto for me too. Highly recommend!

I ventured out that way, because I wanted to try their ice cream. Parked and paid for my parking, not knowing that they sure closed for "summer holidays". My suggestion, if they value their customers, maybe updating their website with that information.

I bought a box of 12 chocolates for $34.65. One chocolate had mold in it (see picture). Not bloom, actual mold! How old were these chocolates? Other than that, they do look nice, but they taste average. More than half of them were caramel-filled, which is fine, but I would not recommend Gems Chocolate to cocoa lovers. Overall, very disappointing for that price. I would have given it 2.5 or 3 stars if it was not for the mold.
