Very cute little hole in the wall that I have passed several times on my way to the gym. Not only is the food affordable, it was absolutely delicious and prepared with care. The flavours were very clean and well balanced. They don’t have a tonne of menu options, but that is fine because I’d rather dine in to a restaurant that does 5-10 menu options very well versus 30-40 menu options that are done ‘ok.’ Highly recommend.

Good food and good food,
But the paving surface is too hot. Can you turn on the air conditioner?

Had the $5.50 winter special with $2 udon add-on. Can’t believe how much I liked it! Probably one of the very, VERY few places in Vancouver where you can still get full meal for under $10. A quick hot meal is exactly what I wanted and I was pleasantly surprised. If I lived in the neighbourhood I’d come here multiple times a week! It’s also their 1 year anniversary so they have special deals like $12 udon that I’ll definitely check out next time.

Visited in late November. Although their signage said they were open earlier, they didn't actually open until noon.Tried the deluxe house special ($23). The noodles were on the firmer side and the broth was quite light in flavor. Came with bbq pork, seaweed, black fungus, garlic, egg and lots of noodles. The prawn tempura were unusually boxy in shape but pretty good. They have a build-your-own oden area starting at $11. The broth starts out hot but it quickly cools down. We had the quail egg, fried tofu, daikon, fish cake, and shrimp ball. Not the best oden I've had in Vancouver but I like that you can pick and choose what you want.

I like the decorations as they bring Japanese station’s vibe. However, the oden was so so, the broth was NOT hot and the udon was kinds of mushy… I would have better experience buying from Lawson in Japan…I looked forward to have proper oden in Vancouver but I was very disappointed…

DIY noodle bowls, for a very good price and big portions. I got the yuzu broth and it was refreshing and unique from the typical shoyu or miso broths. Love the Japanese decor. All well though-out.
