I ordered delivery from Ginger sushi. I really like their portion size and price as it was pretty good compared to other Japanese restaurants. The rolls weren't bad and the fish tasted pretty fresh. I would recommend coming here if you're on commercial drive and want sushi.

Was supposed to go to the Viet Family across the street, but we were turned away due to no reservations and waiting for a table of 3 after 7:30pm wasn’t an option for us. Then we saw Ginger Sushi across the street and gave it a try. Food portion I’d say is very appropriate and affordable. Service is very good and fast, probably due to not very many seating inside the restaurant. I ordered a Box A and a plate of 7pcs Tuna Sashimi. Very delicious and fresh. Absolutely gem. 1000% would recommend to friends and family.

With good prices, nice service, and good food, I'd recommend Ginger Sushi. My House roll and Alaska roll came out within 10 minutes after ordering (takeout) and the rolls were large and good 👍
The waitress who took my order was very polite and pleasant.
The interior is a bit small, it seems to comfortably fit 2-3 parties of 4 but anymore would be pushing it. The chopsticks on the wall are a very charming decoration!

Salmon avocado roll is all avocado no salmon…feels scammed. Also ordered 4 boxes of sushi and got only 1 pack of soy sauce.

The hot food was pretty good especially the tempura which was light and crispy. The teriyaki chicken was good although I would prefer it to be pan fried/grilled instead of deep fried. The white rice was dry definitely not enough water was used in cooking it. The chicken karaage was not good. It looked like tempura which was weird but was not light and crispy like the yam tempura was. In addition, the chicken was very chewy. I was expecting the sushi to be pretty good but was a little disappointed, we thought it was pretty average. The seaweed they use is too chewy. I like that they have wild salmon readily available as an option. The restaurant is very tiny, the smallest I’ve ever been in. Prices were reasonable. Their menu is huge which was surprising especially for such a small restaurant. It would probably make sense to reduce the number of menu items and focus more on quality.
