My husband and I were visiting and wanted to try this restaurant. He ordered a martini and ended up getting a sliver in his lip from the toothpick the olives were on. I had ordered a martini as well and the toothpick that the olives were on was different… We let our server know. Nothing was done oh but he had gelato for us as an offering for dessert. It was strange - most restaurants would have taken the drink off the bill but they did not. Food was ok. Will not be back.

After reading all the great reviews, we were expecting a wonderful time but it was disappointing for us. It was a quiet sunday evening, only 2 other tables so we didn't understand the lack of attention. We had to repeatedly ask for water refills and only 1 bottle was provided for our table of 6. When drinks were cleared, we were not asked of we would like another. Our server/host forgot 2 appetizers so maybe write down our orders if you can't remember. We ordered a beet salad and this was not roasted well, the beets were not tender. I had the rigatoni ossobuco, the flavours were good but the pasta was cooked unevenly. Some pieces were al dente and others were a bit under cooked. Not up to par for a Michelin recommended restaurant.

Insist on checking your bill. When we asked for the check, they only brought over the machine with the price already set saying that one of us already saw and approved the bill which was false. We were only able to check the itemized bill after paying on the machine. Bizarre unpleasant ending to an otherwise good meal.

Francesco made some beautiful recommendations and gave us excellent service. We felt at home. Wine, food, cocktails were all fantastic. The manager Sydney elevated the experience to a 10/10. Absolutely will come back. Try the duck ragu!

Bacarro Restaurant is an absolute gem! Everything we tried was exceptional. The Frutti di Mare was bursting with fresh seafood flavor, and their green pasta was perfectly cooked with a rich, vibrant sauce. The beef steak was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection — easily one of the best I’ve had.
For starters, the beef tartare and Burrata salad were incredible — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch; the chef and staff were warm, attentive, and constantly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.
To top it all off, the cantaloupe gelato was to die for — creamy, refreshing, and the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal.
Truly delivers both in taste and hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great food and great service! 🍝🍷🍨

This place had been on my wish list when visiting Vancouver and had the privilege of being invited for work. The menu had so much I wanted to try and was able to!
The octopus was phenomenal, probably my favourite, tasted fresh and would recommend for anyone who loves seafood.
Their seafood pasta, which had clams was also very good! I would only say I wasn’t a fan of lamb, but the pasta was good, I would have asked for the lamp-chop to be well done or cooked a bit more.
Their secondary Italian beer on tap was also very good!
