Cardamom latte was so delicious. Very nice interior and beautiful atmosphere. They have a nice collection of pastries, but I was full so I couldn't try any.

Coming from a country of great coffee roasters and baristas I’d found it hard to get a good coffee latte in Van, until finding these guys.
Strong, rich and not over heated or watery- these guys hit the spot with their coffees.

Ordered a Moka. Coffee was very bitter. For Cafe attached next to a hotel and above average pricing I expected more

Pros and cons of what could be one downtown's greats...
Pros: excellent espresso, both hot and chilled. Service is also top notch with the baristos/baristas building a sense of community in an area that is fairly difficult to do. Kudos to the Giovane team for that.
Con: as a panini lover, I prefer having both sides of the sandwich toasted instead of one. The other side of the sandwich was soggy and stuck to the wrapper while the other was toasted beautifully. I don't know if it was the panini grill that they use in the cafe; I would suggest adjusting so that both sides are grilled to justify spending $14 on what could potentially be one of the best sandwiches in downtown Vancouver.
Overall, the coffee and staff saved the day. If they made the aforementioned adjustments for the sandwiches, I would happily change the review to six stars.

Waitresses are somehow rude..
The staff were friendly and helpful, especially with food suggestions. The coffee wasn’t the best, but the pastries were fresh and tasty. A nice spot overall for a quick bite.

Wonderful stop after coming off Norwegian Cruise lines. My son lost his passport and we had to go see the US Consulate as to an emergency Passport. We had TONS of luggage and we asked if my wife and daughter could come in with luggage and stay an hour or 2. They welcomed us and told us to stay as long as necessary. They came with water and asked if we needed anything else. Wow. Talk about a warm welcome from Canada. These folks were both kind and gracious!!

I come here every time I visit Vancouver. The staff are nice and answer my questions about drinks I'm unfamiliar with.
I recommend:
Mandorlatte (latte with almond syrup)
Jam cookie
Limone Torta Caprese
The food & drinks are sooooo delicious at both locations. My only complaint is lack of seating inside, but you can take your drink into Fairmont or sit outside.
I also with they'd give the Amaretti even with To-Go order!
