I am a Taiwanese, I can responsibly say that this is definitely the best Taiwanese restaurant I have eaten outside of Taiwan.Kind attitude, cheap price and Perfect food.

Students must try this! On my 10 dollers i am satisfies with my chicken fried rice with a small portion of fries and lots of chicken and chewy fried rice with this sealed cold tea drink. Taste very good it catches my asian taste a five star for this restaurant!

It's been a while for not dining out and go to international village! This new Taiwanese eatery has perfect chicken steak! Crispy, super juicy and big in size with sufficient amount of salt and pepper seasoning.Personally I don't like popcorn chicken but friends said that tasted exactly the one in Taiwan. Those who miss Taiwan should pay a visit. The milk tea is original taste as in Taiwan. Nothing fancy but authentic!Definitely will go again for the Taiwanese beef noodle. It looks great ?

Other reviews are right. This is food prepared at restaurant level of quality, offered at food court prices. I was shocked by how simple egg fried rice could taste so light, yet flavorful. This is clearly cooked by a skilled chef. Had the chicken nugget combo, and will certainly try other menu options soon. Personally would prefer some veg-based sides than the fries. Otherwise, cannot complain.

Ordered the popcorn chicken here and it's delicious! Hot and super juicy, it was still crispy and very flavourful. A great snack to have, or you can get the meal option they have as well on the menus. Fantastic choice!

Friendly service, excellent! Fresh and tasty food, impressive considering the location in the food court. I can definitely tell they go above and beyond for their customers.

Have ordered the pork belly bao and the chicken nugget fried rice before. Before the pandemic, they used to serve a little pudding dessert with any combo but I guess not anymore. Pork belly baos were tasty and good portion. Chicken nuggets were delicious as well. I only found the side dishes (potato salad cookie thing) a bit odd, would've preferred to just have potato salad alone as the cookie was soggy and stale. Fried rice was standard Chinese fried rice (Yes I know it says Taiwanese food on the menu), tasty but quite greasy. I think their price is good for the food quality and portion. However, half of the items on their menu weren't really Taiwanese. Even the drinks offered (lemon honey water, lemon iced tea etc.) weren't usual bubble tea flavours. I think it's just the branding that's off haha. Note: I saw the chef(s) cooking in the kitchen with their mask pushed to their chins. I can understand that it's a hot kitchen, but for the sake of the pandemic, I just don't feel that comfortable seeing that.

Incredibly delicious food made with care, great portion size and value too. Will keep returning!! Thus far I've tried the chicken nugget curry and rice, the chicken Mala, and crispy fish bao, along with lemon tea and milk tea - all have been delectable. Kudos to the wonderful proprietors who make and serve their food with love.

Everytime i go eat lunch at the food court. I always end up eating at this store. Super tasty Taiwanese food at a very reasonable price. They also have frozen packages of food for the days you crave it but don't want to leave the house.Highly recommended.

Honestly - this was THE BEST meal (any type of food) that my partner and I have had in MONTHS. We are both huge foodies and love various ethnic foods in particular, and this was absolutely something special. What an absolute gem in the middle of a food court - this was absolutely restaurant quality food, and honestly better than most restaurants I’ve visited in the last year in Vancouver for such a great price. My partner and I each had an order of the chicken nuggets with rice (pictured, $10) - UNREAL. Chicken was hot and incredibly tasty & tender, rice was so flavourful, and it came with really unique sides. We also ordered the pork belly bao buns ($11)- I totally forgot to take a picture and I’m sad because I actually almost cried happy tears it was SO GOOD. Traditional and yet unique flavours, textures - the order came with 2 and they were huge!! They have an amazing promotion on right now where each meals comes with one of their drinks!! So we got to try both their honey lemon juice, and their milk tea (50 cents extra) - again, both unreal. Partner doesn’t typically like milk tea and he said this was the best he’s ever had a and there honey drink has the best delicious, refreshing, genuine honey flavour it was so unique.Everything was presented SO beautifully, and there was way more detail than I’ve ever seen for something so reasonably priced and from a food court! The two staff working were so friendly and were so attentive to us - even coming around and bringing out a to-go bag for us when they noticed we hadn’t finished all of our food! Food took about 10 minutes, as a new batch of rice was cooking, but they made sure we were okay with waiting when we ordered - didn’t mind waiting at all because the food was so fresh & hot! Will absolutely be back!! Can’t wait to try more things on the menu!

New Taiwanese place in the International Village food court. Parking is available in the lot beneath the mall. Everything on the menu looked good. I went for the crispy chicken fried rice combo. The chicken was nice and crisp without being too heavy on the batter or being too oily. Decent sized portion too. The dish came served with a portion of black fungus and a potato salad "taco" (crispy rice cracker shell) on a bed of fried rice. Very cute looking taco and a nice tasty bonus. Special mention on the fried rice. This was not the standard dumpy food court fare I was expecting at all. It's the really tasty variety found in high end banquet style restaurants. The portion size was very generous, as it completely filled the bottom of the box. I was stuffed. The meal combo also comes with a drink. As of the time of the writing, the choices were honey lemon water and black tea. Standard stuff but can't go wrong. I can still taste the chicken while writing this review. Will definitely be back to try the other items. Everything looks so good here. Recommended.

Very decent Taiwanese food! The popcorn chicken was pretty delicious and came with big portion! The soup dumpling was very juicy and tasty. They warmed me that it would take 15 mins for the soup dumpling but I waited for like 20 mins. Totally worth the waiting! The pork in the gua bao was amazing tasty. I will go back again!
