Fantastic evening here for dinner- the Buy Up special. Food 5 stars. Our server - Predrag - was incredible 10 stars. Just the right amount of attentiveness and chatting. Charming man. The atmosphere is beautiful. Only possible negative was that tables were a tad too close to each other. If want to have a quiet / serious discussion - would be hard. Will definitely return.

It looked pretty on the outside covered patio area now their garden theme so we went in for brunch, it was a good deal for bennies on the weekend! Impressed by the extra smoothies and mini donuts, many downtown restaurants have been giving complimentary food/drinks, appreciated the unexpected nice meal. Drinks look amazing too.

Nothing for a vegetarian to eat at the Mother's Day buffet brunch--even after we filled out the "dietary restrictions" email we were sent--why bother? Not one veg entree, not one veggie salad (aside from a chopped bowl of literally only romaine lettuce), no veg side dishes (aside from some uninspired poutine fries.) Us omnivores would have liked even one crisp salad or one veggie side dish. For the high price we paid ($125pp), I would have expected more.

Vegetarian options: NOTHING FOR A VEGETARIAN TO EAT. NO VEGETARIAN OPTIONS.

Delicious + creatively classic high quality food and sincere top notch service, and an ambient, comfortable, unpretentious yet elegant atmosphere is my criteria for a 5 star restaurant and all of Glowbal Restaurants meet that criteria. My favorites - The Roof, Black + Blue, Trattoria Burnaby, Glowbal.

We had Susan as our waitress and she was absolutely amazing! It’s rare to have such a great waitress nowadays and she definitely made the experience. Was our first time there and would love to go back. Xx

We were there for Easter international buffet. Dan took good care of us for today. He always come to check in, fill a water, fold the napkin and ask do we need anything else. On top of the quality of the food but also 5 star ✨ service that we got. We will come back again for sure.

Kid-friendliness: They provided one room for famiywith kids so every table will have kids so it's safe and good atmosphere for family.

MICE, MICE, MICE! We saw so many mice running around within the dining area of the restaurant. It was not taken seriously or acknowledged by management. It was extremely disappointing in how they dealt with it. Very pompous attitude saying "it's cold outside, so mice are going to be an issue"... will never be returning!

Went to dinner here for Valentine’s day. We were initially seated as soon as we were checked in for our reservation that was made in advance. The atmosphere was okay, decorated decently nice and had heaters outside. The ambience of the music was overly loud to where we couldn’t even hear each other without partially yelling even though we sat only arms width away… We tried the valentine’s day 3 course meal, the mains being ribeye steak & the seabass… the appies being the foie grois & jumbo prawn cocktail. Firstly, the foie grois wasn’t too bad, had decent texture and a quite an interesting palette of flavours. The prawn cocktail on the otherhand… absolutely tasteless, nonetheless was it slightly undercooked… we waited about an hour and twenty minutes for our entrees for them to come out lukewarm… and my boyfriend and I were very disappointed w/ it. His steak didn’t have much seasoning and was completely tasteless. While my entree had a great tasting and flavourful soup base the seabass lacked there of. My vegetables w/ the dish were also not fully cooked, when I took my first bite it was almost as solid as a rock. We were so excited to have a wonderful date night, but were completely dissatisfied with the lack of service and warnings to how long our food was going to take to leave the kitchen and be propped onto our table. I wish we would’ve chosen another restaurant for a special occasion like today but sadly we chose glowbal as it was walking distance to my apartment. Nonetheless my boyfriend’s friend also took his girlfriend a couple hrs after our dinner, and had the same exact experience with wait times for the food. Maybe even getting theirs almost 2 hrs later and settling to take it to go. Would highly suggest id you’re going on a busy day, save your time and book somewhere else.. seemed like the kitchen was understaffed and in a rush, wished they had prepared for a night as important as valentines day. $260 for dinner for two, leaving with a horrible memory and leaving still hungry/unsatisfied.
