Very good Fish and Chips, probably the best in the city. Dingy little container just off Granville Island but absolutely worth the 5 minute walk. Also it's a little bit cheaper than on the Island.

If Poseidon himself fancied a fry up, this is where he’d come. Tucked along the water’s edge, with Vancouver’s skyline shimmering a mile away, lies a humble little haven of golden-battered glory. No white tablecloths, no pretense, just picnic benches, sea breeze, and food that tastes like it was caught with love and fried with joy.

This place isn’t just a fish and chip joint. It’s a pilgrimage site for the devoutly hungry. The fish? Flaky, fresh, and kissed with the kind of crispiness that audibly crackles. The chips? Chunky enough to cause minor debates at the table over who got more! Everything about this place screams simplicity, until the flavour hits you like a maritime epiphany.

You sit there, the scent of salt and lemon in the air, seagulls heckling from above, and you think, “I’d drive two hours in traffic and park uphill both ways just to eat here again.”

It’s fish and chips with a side of skyline. A love letter to the coast, wrapped in parchment paper. Bring your friends, bring your appetite, and for heaven’s sake, bring your camera, the view alone is worth the trip, but the food will have you writing poetry.

In a world full of overcomplicated menus and foamy sauces, this spot is a reminder that when you get the fish this fresh, all you need is heat, salt, and a view.

Fantastic.

Closing time says 7 but they stop taking orders at 6:30. Showed up at 6:38 and couldn’t place an order. Would have appreciated this listed somewhere.

Delicious well priced fresh fish and chips

Great fresh cooked fish and chips. Cod, halibut and salmon(?). You sit outside at picnic tables and look out of the dock area. There was a local fresh shrimp station just in front of us. I heartily recommend it!

This is a great spot BUT … we just arrived at 6:45 and they had stopped taking orders… so they should probably adjust their closing time so people don’t rush to get there before closing at 7pm.

Go Fish is a charming little stall by the water with a fantastic vibe. The atmosphere is lively, with music playing, and the fish and chips are perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender inside. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy a delicious meal by the water. You’re guaranteed a good time!

This place is a hidden gem. My favourite place for fish and chips. Definitely top three that I’ve tried in the city. They have halibut or cod. Both are amazing. The service is efficient, but can slow down a bit during busy hours. The location and seating area have a beautiful view facing the south side of downtown. It’s such a vibe. The staff is always kind and they always have a good vibe with each other and customers. I strongly suggest this place for fish and chips. P.S. they also somehow have some of the best fries I’ve had, like what

Popular fish and chips place recommended by a boating tour company. Mistakenly gave us cod, when paid a premium for the halibut. Free parking available. Friendly staff. A lineup when we went due to its popularity. We also tried the Cod Tacone which was nice.

The fish and chips was great and the view is AMAZING. We shared a two piece since we had snacks at Granville Public Market and it was the perfect amount!
