The Steak was quite good, also the siders and the Carpaccio. Disappointing was the Cheese Plate as a dessert and the Creme brulee, too. Nice wine list. All in all okay, for European gourmets nothing special for the price. The staff was friendly and tried hard. Guten Appetit!

This is my new favourite spot in Vancouver for steak! Service was outstanding, looking forward to coming back again.

Couldn't recommend Gotham more. Our server was incredible + the food and drinks were on point. Worth the money for sure!

Return customer. The bone in Rib steak, lamb chops were cooked perfect. My steak charred on the outside, buttery and flavourful on inside made my mouth water when it arrived on a while beautiful plate. Oysters to start, sides of mushrooms that were interesting to look at, sauteed and firm yet melt in mouth jucy and snap peas that were sauteed in butter and seasoned right balanced the buttery steam with a snap crunch on the pallet. The wine we took a chance and Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon was one of the better we had, she had Merlot and it was jammy and delicious. Desert Key Lime pie didn't disappoint, a flaky yet hard graham cracker shell, filling felt like pillowy softness and intense flavour expected from a Keylime Pie. What made it great was the size could share for two, with a perfect espresso shot. When we arrived it was almost just us, then the place slowly came to life and filled up all corners and upper level. The Gotham dim lighting like the Gotham City we came to know had incredible ambience and mystery. I still think they have the best ventilation and air filtration system for any steamhouse I have been to in North America. You could smell searing steak if you journeyed to the open kitchen but the entire seating area was clean fresh air, leaving clothing smelling like clothing not burned meat. My wife noticed the abundance of serving staff all orchestrating a great guest experience, and polite, well groomed in their uniforms. The only noticeable negative was not the fault of the restaurant, clearly pricing of the day was higher and that is just fine for a luxury meal like no other in the City. The classic Martinis we started with went down well and maybe helped the slight sticker shock but it was all okay. We will return for another special celebration in 2026.

We had an excellent meal and overall a wonderful experience. Our server, I believe his name was Dave - I am so sorry I don't recall it! - he was lovely. Good sense of humour, very knowledgeable about the menu, especially the large drink menu. He did not steer us wrong with his suggestions, he definitely swayed us towards the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake for dessert and I am so glad we listened, as it was divine. I am not sure when we will have a chance to visit again but we absolutely will be back again.

Had the New York strip, was excellent. Mash potatoes are addicting, be careful! Crab cake appetizer was almost all crab, excellent. Great service. Sticky toffee and an espresso to finish a wonderful meal.

Recommend happy hour at the bar and the key lime pie! Live music on some.simmer Fridays and a large patio.

It feels like being in Gotham! Honestly, the location is extraordinary, with a cozy and refined atmosphere. The service is truly five-star. The steak was the best I’ve had this year. There’s also an excellent selection of wines.
