I'm a frequent customer and I've always liked the customer service and quality of food of this place, but Today unfortunately the person who attended us wasn't nice and kind at all, disappointing that it had happened in this great place. She didn't greet, seemed to be upset and asked to take our order in a bad mood.

This was a takeout order so the food wasn't as great as if dine-in.
Chicken nuggets: Tasty. 8/10.
Poke bowl: Tasty dressing although the lettuce leaves had the telltale rust colored ends indicating they're a bit dated. 7/10.
Dumplings: A bit underdone, with crusty edges. 6/10.
Tempura: Soggy and limp. 4/10.

I came in with the family and ordered a bunch of hand rolls. Worker told owner something about the kids running around too much and told us to stop. So we oblige and told our kids to calm down. No one was in the restaurant too. We got our order and we ask for a side plate for our soy sauce and wasabi for dipping she said sorry we don’t got one. I’m thinking why not just give us another plate? Then we ordered one more small roll and ask if we can get a small container and she said sorry you need to order two. So previously we ordered like 10 rolls for dining in doesn’t make sense to me. Horrible customer service.

When Grab n go first opened in 2020/21, it was my favorite! The oshi was affordable and delicious, and we also loved the chicken. We used to go there at least 3 times a week. However, few months later, everything changed and it started going downhill from there.I have gone there twice this year 2024, and i was absolutely disappointed. The rice in triangle rice balls are super stale. You can tell by the rice, the rice is just hard… ? Def not worth it.

Dietary restrictions: The server was not helpful and was condescending. I asked several times about vegetarian options and she not only laughed at me she then was too lazy to come show me. I grabbed what’s called a Soy Chicken assuming it was a fake soy chicken, however she laughed at me saying it’s real chicken how I could not know. When I asked what a certain item was she responded by saying “ I told you already “. This was not only rude but not helpful in me making a decision so I left without getting anything.

A must-visit store for Koreans! Ramen, chicken, rolls? There are a lot of delicious things, but there are also snacks like konjac jelly, triangle kimbap, and mochi :) If I lived nearby, I would come here all the time..! It's a pity.

I gave it 2 stars b/c of the price of the disposable ramen bowl that you're paying for.... which is $7 alone. I ordered the Shin ramen, and the ramen itself was $4/pack AND the bowl is $7. So it ends up being $11 alone for ramen, which is too much. It was also a bit deceiving b/c the price on the menu says $4 for Shin ramen (which is true, but doesn't include the disposable bowl.) If I knew it didn't come with the bowl, I could just order Shin CUP ramen.
I asked about the cost, thinking I was charged extra for another ramen, but the person said it was correctly charged.
The inari tasted good and the price of the other items are ok for the convenience.

The food is pretty much same quality and taste as the frozen food you can buy at glossary stores, and there’s NO SERVICE AT ALL. You need to microwave them yourself and clean up yourself. I realized this after paying 15% tips and eating. Very poor experience.

This grabngo location does not appear to be associated with the actual grabngo chain that has real food you can "grab and go". This is a sushi restaurant. You have to take your order and wait 10-15minutes before you can walk out. A lot of the previous reviews are either old, when it was a grabngo, or are confused with the real location of the grabngo after it moved.
If you work nearby and you're looking for something quick, this is not the place. The real grabngo moved down the block closer to Yaletown.
As a suggestion, maybe you should rename this place so it's not called "grab n go". Nothing is grab n go here.
Also the service is horrendous. Maybe a hi from staff would be nice? It appears the cashier just sits on her phone and doesn't say a word unless spoken to. I wouldn't want to work for tips either so I get it 🤷.
