The food here was great! We visited this place during our trip to Vancouver from Victoria! Food was great and quantity was amazing too.. The service could be better as I received 2 wrong dishes but couldn't blame them as they were super busy!!Vegetarian options: Being a vegetarian, they accommodated all the dishes that I wanted to have and made them vegetarian, which was great!

I had their sweet and sour pork last night and woke up sick as a dog, and I still am.Stear clear of this restaurant, there are far better options in Vancouver.

Visited Grand Chinese in Yaletown a couple of times, stumbled upon it randomly the first time. No research, just took a chance. Surprisingly good! Tasty, flavorful food.Second visit with family, booked a table, and it didn't disappoint. Shared a variety of plates, everyone was pleased. Personally loved the spicy-sour soup. As someone not big on greasy, deep-fried Chinese food, I really enjoyed the food here. Glad that we found it.

Had an absolutely delightful dining experience here! The service was top-notch from the moment we walked in. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about our dining experience. As for the food, it was simply exquisite. Each dish was a burst of authentic flavors, showcasing the true essence of traditional Chinese cuisine. The ingredients were fresh, and the dishes were both visually appealing and delicious. It's clear that there's a lot of passion and expertise behind the menu. This place is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic, delicious Chinese food. Highly recommend!

Ordered delivery. Literally not fresh, dried up sweet and sour chicken, rice was even hard, they sent the wrong noodles. Honestly for $100, one of the worst meals I had. Do yourself a favour and just get a burger or something somewhere, this absolutely is not good dining.

Probably some of the best vegetable dishes I have personally ever tasted in any Chinese restaurant anywhere & I have tried many over the years both growing up in the San Francisco area & living in Seattle. Szechwan cabbage was my absolute favorite, simple but exceptionally delicious. I will return every time I come to Vancouver.
Well, we definitely must have hit a bad night. We were there on Christmas as a last minute trip and we decided it would be fun to get Chinese on Christmas night. This place was busy so we were excited! Then was were were sitting there, we realized that they were slammed with takeout orders and they were overwhelmed. The food took some time to arrive and the worst part about sitting in the restaurant was their ventilation system was definitely not sufficient for the amount of fumes coming from the kitchen. The entire restaurant was filled in a smoke filled haze and it wasn't pleasant. We ordered the D17. Wonton Soup which was AMAZING!. We also ordered the D3. 生煎包 Pan Fried Pork Buns which had what could only be described inside as a sausage patty stuffed inside. It was like eating a day old McDonald's Sausage McMuffin (which we haven't eaten one of those is years). We ordered the D18. Pan Fried Chicken Potstickers which were pretty good for sure. We ordered the B7. Grade AAA Alberta Beef Steak with Chilli & Black Pepper which was good but it had a ton of the dried red chilies all over the dish...we mean like there were more of those than then pieces of steak. The flavor and tenderness of the steak was good but it was covered up by all those dried red chilies. The final thing we ordered was the C9. Xinjiang Spicy Chicken which the menu read stir fried which we though mean stir fried in a wok but instead they were pieces of chicken that were battered and deep fried and the pieces were definitely not all white meat.Anyhow, we feel bad those people had to work on Christmas night but we were super disappointed especially because we heard so much about the Asian food in Vancouver. We hate writing bad reviews but we're definitely foodies and we know what's good and what isn't.

Horrible and way overpriced. Went on christmas. If its not the cooking or the restaurant, Chinese food must just be inedible. Can’t tell though. I think it might be the worst restaurant in vancouver.
