The combo is pretty nice and the pad thai is not super authentic but tastes good! The small size chicken pad thai is really salty for reason though :(
My comfortable food in UBC. Fast and Good.
Honestly I’m wracking my brain, but to the very best of my recollection I have never had worse food, or paid more for it. I took an out of town colleague and her daughter here for lunch today and two of the three of us couldn’t even eat the food, period. Mine was outrageously oily, hers was literally unpleasant tasting. Under normal circumstances I would have brought it to the management’s attention but my colleague was the one to suggest the place and I felt it could embarrass her if I made a fuss. But I’ll be frank, I paid $60 for the 3 of us and I would like my money refunded. I literally haven’t ever been so dissatisfied. Absolutely appalling.
Nothing less than 5 stars especially looking into the busy place they are. Food is great with a nice place to sit, relax and enjoy your food. The best thing for me here is to enjoy halal chicken
BBQ miso ramen is actually so bad. The meat is tasteless and the broth has no flavor.

Portions are kind of strange for the bbq pork rice bowl, it’s 80% white rice with the most random “Asian sides” thrown on top 😭 pork is decent, small portions of meat ):
they put teriyaki sauce on it which is like putting ranch dressing and mayonnaise on pasta, really strange choices overall

Mediocre food with very few options. There was a strand of beard hair (partially white/black) that I found in the broccoli. The cooks should wear a beard net cause this is disgusting. I won’t be going back and I would rather eat elsewhere than here. There are many options available which are probably better than this place.

If you’re on a budget and looking for mid food, here is the place to go. Portions are very generous. I suggest dine-in meals, much better than the to-go combo food. Flat noodle cumin lamb is pretty good. Takeout vegetables are salty, don’t get rice.

I got a rice bowl with sweet and sour pork and green beans (combo b) and it was trash. The rice looked like they attempted fried rice but instead they somehow managed to make it taste stale, overcooked, and flavourless at the same time. The sweet and sour pork was overcooked. Some pieces were just pure fat. The sauce tasted like it wad equal parts ketchup and vinegar. The green beans were also flavourless. Any garlic and salt that was added ended up tasting like canola oil. Don't go here. It's also expensive.

The combos aren't to expensive and the noodle dishes are pretty decent if you're in a rush. The portions are pretty decent as well. Definitely one of the more affordable places on campus.
